In the Wireless Analytics & Data Engineering team, we build innovative data solutions to enhance the way we manage our Wireless Networks data. We’re customer-driven with a lot of courage to be creative. In this role you will work collaboratively with different stakeholders to help accelerate the transformation towards building robust, scalable, and agile data solutions that aims at helping our network teams get better insights and take informed decision on modelled data that resulted from the processing of terabytes of unstructured data coming from various sources.
You will play an integral role in our accelerated efforts to adopt AI/ML use cases in data management with a clear focus of network operations excellence and best customer experience.
You will also work with your management and cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvements along the journey.


What you’ll do


•    Collect and analyze the technical and functional requirements of the different Wireless Network teams regarding their data needs
•    Assess the status quo, analyzing current processes, procedures, and data flows to identify further transformations, enhancements, and automations
•    Develop technical solutions proposals that highlight the scope, budget, resources, and timelines
•    Develop data models to transform the huge data received from network elements into actionable work items and performance dashboards
•    Collaborate with other team members to continue the journey of Wireless data transformation into GCP
•    Lead AI/ML use cases for Wireless data to solve real-life network and customer problems
•    Architect and design data governance solutions such as Metadata management, data privacy, data quality controls
•    Build a roadmap for self-serve network intelligence leveraging the GCP and Semantic layer tools being implemented
•    Provide solution oversight to delivery and operation teams
•    Provide architectural expertise in data management to other teams
•    Foster innovation to improve data usage and operational efficiency


What you bring


•    Proven ability to manage telco-grade technical projects and solutions
•    Strong ability to lead teams and manage different stakeholders
•    Excellent analytical, critical thinking, communication, and problem solving skills
•    7+ years of progressive experience in Big Data, data warehousing, ETL, and data analytics
•    Prior experience building large scale enterprise data architectures using commercial and/or open-source Data Analytics technologies
•    Hands on experience with Google Cloud Platform data management solutions such as Big Query, Dataflow, Dataproc, Vertex AI
•    Strong knowledge in data manipulation languages such as Spark, Hive SQL, Apache Nifi, and Kafka
•    Strong experience in data modelling and data architecture with a strong foundation in data warehousing and dimensional data modelling
•    Good knowledge in data governance pillars including data security, data quality, and data trust
•    Solid experience in the management of Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters
•    Experience in shell scripting, configuration, and infrastructure management tools (Terraform)
•    Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps engineering practices
•    Good knowledge in Wireless Networks technologies especially in the Radio Access Networks (RAN)
•    Exposure and familiarity with various DevOps tools and pipelines
•    Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or any related field

Salary Range:  $99,000-$149,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%
