What you’ll do
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you’ll be a business partner to the Retirement & Benefits Solutions Leaderships team within TELUS Health organization. You will provide controllership, financial guidance, and stewardship to ensure strategic and operational goals. Your expertise with financial reporting, forecasting and strategy planning will shape critical business decisions. Your talent for balancing focus on small but important details and the big picture will be invaluable as you address complex challenges with innovative solutions while engaging and building strong relationships with internal partners.
The Senior Financial Analyst will report to the Controller for Retirement & Benefits Solutions and will be responsible to:
- Assist in leading and manage the monthly results, forecasting, Strat Check and Budget process
- Share insights and recommendations to nurture effective decision making
- Collaborate, liaise and interlock with various groups on financial related matters
- Help TELUS Health gain competitive advantage and maximize value creation by delivering innovative solutions and operational excellence
- Support the development of strategic options to improve business efficiency, grow the business and enhance profitability
- Support business case development
- Identify and implement process improvement opportunities
What you bring

Great-to-have
- University degree and CPA accounting designation is required
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant analytical experience in a finance/accounting position
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, with in-depth knowledge of Excel and Google sheets
- Knowledgeable with SAP, Hyperion and WorkDay
- Superior attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong time management, problem solving and prioritization in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to interpret complex data in a way that is relevant to the audience
