We’re looking for a focused strategic thinker with a desire to support the launch of new security services and improve the value chain experience.  You’ll help operationalize our three-year plan by partnering with leaders and stakeholders to drive strategic and transformational initiatives.

 

You are an accomplished project manager with the ability to guide and drive the implementation of new products and services within our go to market team using a combination of both legacy and new value chain tools and processes.  If this sounds like you, we would be interested in learning more about you!  

 

Here’s what you’ll do in this role:

 

  • Lead a project throughout critical steps to launch new security products and services
  • Working closely with our Product team partners deliver on an 18 month rolling roadmap of cybersecurity services in collaboration with key partners and stakeholders 
  • Develop strong relationships with management stakeholders with internal TELUS teams (Sales, Pre-sales, Delivery and Day 2 teams) to influence project priority, strategy and delivery
  • Prioritize the allocation of resources to align with organizational strategy
  • Remove internal and external roadblocks when required to resolve project issues at the Manager and Director level when necessary
  • Support a continuous improvement culture (tools and processes) while growing PM skills and best practices
  • Share a passion for cybersecurity and supporting Canadian organizations

 

 

Qualifications

 

What you bring:

 

  • You are proficient with Project Management tools and processes
  • You have knowledge of cybersecurity services, vendors and technologies and a desire to expand your knowledge
  • You understand and are familiar with the tools and processes used within the TELUS value chain
  • You understand the concepts of team building and can apply them to complex or large teams and can coach team members
  • You are capable of developing a broad base of confidence to support security projects
  • You are comfortable creating presentations and presenting them to senior leaders
  • You have excellent negotiation, organizational and communication skills
  • You have past experience managing large or complex product launches involving multi-team or cross-departmental collaboration
  • You hold a university degree in Engineering or a related field PMP or equivalent

 
Great to haves

 

  • Agile Project Management experience 
  • Familiarity with SD-WAN products and services
  • You are familiar with the TELUS new product and service introduction processes
  • Bilingual English/French
