As a Senior Market Intelligence Manager within the Churn & Base Management Insights team, you'll join a group of passionate individuals who share your enthusiasm for data analytics and meaningful change.

 

In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with diverse teams and leverage the latest analytics tools to ensure TELUS makes data-driven decisions that benefit both our organization and our valued customers. Your insights will be crucial across TELUS’ varied consumer product portfolio—including wireless subscriptions, internet, TV services, security products, and more—driving impactful initiatives and fostering a positive change.

Develop and Present Insights: You will craft and communicate actionable insights related to the performance of TELUS’ consumer products to stakeholders and leaders, ensuring clear and impactful messaging.

 

Influence Business Decisions: Through your expertly developed dashboards, forecasts, reports, and insights, you will shape strategic business decisions and the future of our organization.

 

Enable Partner Teams: Your data-driven tools and insights will empower partner teams to drive their initiatives, creating a friendly future that continually enhances customer experiences.

 

 

Qualifications

 

What You Bring

 

Exceptional Storytelling and Communication: Your ability to communicate clearly and build relationships with audiences at all levels, including senior leadership, will be essential.

 

Strong Analytical Skills: You can interpret large volumes of data thoughtfully, conveying insights and recommendations through email, video calls, and slides in a clear and compelling manner.

 

Technical Proficiency: You possess strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (8+ years), Google Cloud Platform (2+ years, particularly BigQuery), and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker (4+ years).

 

Expert Spreadsheet Skills: Your proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets spans over 8+ years, allowing for exceptional data handling and analysis.

 

Adaptive and Continuous Learner: You demonstrate a genuine eagerness to learn, grow, and adapt to new software tools and evolving business needs.

 

Strategic Experience: With over 7 years of experience in business and/or marketing strategy, you bring a robust understanding of market and financial dynamics.

 

Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English, both verbal and written, is required for this opportunity.

 

Great-to-haves

 

  • Familiarity with GitHub
  • Experience with Pulumi or comparable Infrastructure as Code tools
  • A degree in Business, Accounting, Marketing, or Computer Science

 

 

Salary Range:  $88,000-$132,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
