As the Senior Marketing Manager, Search, you'll play a crucial role in driving our global search presence and performance. You'll lead our efforts in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM) across organic and paid channels, helping us connect with employers and partners worldwide. Together, we'll drive demand, increase brand visibility and encourage meaningful engagement with our target audiences.
What you'll do
- Develop and execute comprehensive global SEO and SEM strategies aligned with TELUS Health's business objectives
- Manage and optimize organic search performance across TELUS Health digital properties including AI-driven search optimization to adapt to shifting audience behaviours
- Audit search performance of acquired companies and build organic and paid plans to support traffic migration
- Plan, implement, and monitor paid search campaigns across various platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Bing Ads)
- Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis across multiple geographies to inform search strategies, optimize content development and find growth opportunities to stay ahead in the market
- Collaborate with content, web development and analytics teams to optimize on-page and technical SEO elements
- Develop and maintain SEO best practices documentation and guidelines for internal teams
- Analyze search performance data and prepare regular reports on KPIs, insights and recommendations
- Stay up-to-date with the latest search engine algorithms, industry trends and best practices
- Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors related to search marketing initiatives
- Mentor and guide junior team members in SEO and SEM practices
Qualifications
What you bring
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in digital marketing with a strong focus on SEO and SEM
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful search strategies for global brands
- Strong business acumen with an ability to evaluate ideas against business needs and success criteria
- In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices, search engine algorithms and ranking factors
- Expertise in paid search advertising platforms, including Google Ads and Bing Ads
- Strong analytical skills with experience using SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz) and web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics)
- Excellent project management, communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
