The Independent Channels team is the place to be! Our highly engaged team supports third-party Channels - from National Retail banners like Best Buy to our valued Dealer partners across the country - all while driving performance across all Wireless and Wireline lines of business.

 

As a Senior Marketing Manager, you will support our business by working directly with members of the SMB Independent Channel Program and TELUS Business Solutions Marketing teams to collaborate on Go-to-Market (GTM) initiatives and define the future roadmap that will enable our dealer’s success in the Small Medium Business (SMB) segment for both our dealer retail and dealer outbound sales teams.

 

What You’ll Do

 

  • Partner with stakeholders in TELUS Business Solutions Marketing and Product times to create comprehensive GTM plans for the dealer channel including new product launches, rate plan changes and regional promotions
  • Support the Dealer Performance Managers with marketing materials and training to promote increased sales of TELUS business products to dealer customers
  • Produce the SMB in retail communications to provide concise updates of all the promotions the dealer retail teams need to know to drive awareness and loading through the retail channel
  • Drive sales activities and promotions in the dealer outbound and retail channels
  • Produce training support documents and videos when required
  • Create quality presentations and be comfortable to presenting and engaging with a wide variety of stakeholder groups from dealer sales reps, dealer executives and TELUS internal teams - knowing how to tailor each message to the right audience

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • Post-secondary degree in business, marketing, economics, finance or another related field
  • 3-5 years of sales/channel experience in the Telecommunications industry, or similar industry
  • You are known for your exceptional verbal and written communication skills, such as building beautiful, succinct presentations and presenting them with confidence
  • You will help us make the best decisions for our business by bringing insight directly to our Leadership team
  • You have strong interpersonal and communication skills, a dynamic personality, and proven ability to work with stakeholders to get buy-in to drive change
  • You are known for having strong business acumen and a proven ability to synthesize business results into actionable insights
  • You are naturally curious and known as a problem solver with a strong determination to identify and overcome obstacles that may stop you from reaching your goals
  • You are known for taking a collaborative, integrated work style with a reputation that makes cross-functional teams want to work with you

 

Reporting to the Manager, Program Office you’ll bring your A-game by:

 

  • Working together with your channel to identify target-impacting challenges, dig into them until you identify the root cause, and then collaborate with relevant stakeholders from across TELUS to find the best solution and ensure it gets implemented
  • Driving meaningful change with our partners in SMB Marketing by acting as our Dealer Champion, allowing our dealer sales teams to focus on what they do best: providing best-in-class customer sales experiences
  • Partnering with key stakeholders to implement dealer outlier management programs and dealer productivity metrics to highlight successes and areas of opportunity

Salary Range:  $90,000-$134,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
