The individual is responsible for supporting critical strategy performance measurement that is focused on improving customer experience, lowering costs & driving technological innovation.

Your proficiency with Google Suite, complemented by customized storytelling ability, for all levels of audiences, draws strong admiration. You have a natural ability to form strong working relationships and transform the complicated into simple. You are comfortable working with all levels of the organization – including senior executives. As the successful candidate, you have diverse and broad skills, and are flexible in nature, as you will support various initiatives within the overall Strategic Performance team.

Here’s how

 

  • Strategy: You will collaborate with peers in CTE to understand strategic direction and drive forward progress through our strategic performance tool - Scorecards
  • Scorecards: Implement a standardized programmatic approach across your portfolio of Stakeholders to deliver an annual comprehensive scorecard strategy based on a consistent framework, guidelines, and aligned with overall CTE strategy
  • Performance Analysis: You will support in-year performance management, ensure key strategic priorities are measured and remediation plans are in place to ensure year-end success across CTE
  • You will enable the CTE Leadership Team to make strategic decisions easier and faster everyday by driving value added analysis and strategic insights to drive behaviour and business processes across your portfolio
  • Project Management: Lead cross-collaborative projects by identifying opportunities, developing recommendations and seeing through implementation including standardized process documentation where appropriate
  • Process Improvement: You will champion process improvements for internal and external processes across the strategic performance and stakeholder teams
  • Stakeholder Management: You will foster trust and build strong relationships to successfully lead through influence across the CTE and TELUS teams aligning on key decisions and necessary approval across all levels of our organization (Manager, Directors, VPs)
  • Presentations & Storytelling: With your excellent communication skills you’ll be able to articulate the key strategic priorities and progress MoM building exec-level content and presentations for your portfolio

 

 

Qualifications

 

You’re the missing piece of the puzzle

 

  • You are an experienced analytic yet strategic thinker who can connect the dots from ambiguous strategy to delivery
  • You love to solve problems with your critical thinking and always challenge the status quo to find better ways of working to do more faster
  • You should have a high degree of comfort and confidence working directly with the VP to SVP level
  • You have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong working relationships
  • You are able to handle multiple initiatives prioritizing effectively
  • You are able to clearly articulate complex concepts and storylines through various mediums, especially Google Slides & Docs in the language of many different audiences
  • You are able to build interlocking reporting tools and dashboards that automate manual entries from various stakeholders (All google workspace platforms including API scripting)
  • Build visual dashboards for our team and stakeholders in order to understand the big picture of the story being told
  • You are able to educate stakeholders in any change management scenarios

 
Great to haves:

 

  • Experience with visualization tools such as Google workspace (sheets and data studio), Domo, Tableau and SQL
  • University degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or other quantitative discipline
  • MBA, Agile certifications, PMP or equivalent (Nice to have)
  • Workshop facilitation skills and experience
  • Technology / telecommunications experience
