We are looking for a dynamic and innovative Black Belt with a knack for challenging the status quo to join our Team. The successful candidate will focus on identifying, developing, and implementing strategic initiatives that take organizational costs out, help win new customers over, and improve our network reliability.

As a Black Belt/Senior Process Improvement Consultant within the Strategy, Transformation, and Enablement Team you will lead initiatives that make a real measurable difference to our operations. A broad stakeholder group will rely on your ability to develop actionable insights, use critical thinking and data analytics to identify transformation or process improvement opportunities related to work automation, field operations, systems, planning, forecasting etc. Once identified you will use your excellent storytelling ability to bring key stakeholders on board to help realize these opportunities.

What you’ll do

 

  • Identify and deliver on a portfolio of projects to improve operational processes and customer experience. This includes the development of implementation plans, ownership of execution and results achievement
  • Advocate for transformation and continuous improvement, provide expert-level guidance and direction to other business analysts, key stakeholders and project teams
  • Lead national, cross-functional stakeholder teams to analyze, design and implement multiple process improvements
  • Act as a training resource to identify wasteful activities/processes, use data to drive root cause analysis activities, lead quality improvements, prioritize process improvement projects and developing business cases
  • Provide project status updates, timelines, feedback and appropriate reporting on selected projects
  • Conduct training on process improvement and change management methodology and tools as required
  • Identify, own and implement initiatives that improve operational processes all the way through sustained benefits realization to increase quality and value
  • Work with stakeholders to drive adoption and implementation of digital technology
  • Create innovative solutions to problems by working closely with our development teams using automation and AI technologies

 

 

Qualifications

 

What you bring

 

  • 4-8 years hands-on experience in process improvement, process modeling, change leadership and communication
  • Extensive experience with digital transformation and function automation
  • University degree, or post-secondary education
  • Lean Six Sigma or Six Sigma Black Belt or Advanced Lean certification
  • You’re an energetic self-starter known for your ability to lead change, convince leadership to drive lasting improvements, and achieve results through process improvement methodologies with a clear vision
  • You are a proactive, strategic and creative problem solver with demonstrated analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
  • You have excellent problem solving techniques and extensive experience in process improvement methodologies
  • You’re an excellent project manager and positive communicator with proven leadership, influencing, and facilitation skills
  • You’re a results-driven achiever who can grasp and clearly communicate complex ideas
  • You have sound working knowledge of process improvement methodologies, mapping techniques and tools

 

Great-to-haves

 

  • Project management experience (PMP Certification)
  • RPA (Robotic process automation) and Agent-based AI experience
  • Systems development experience
  • Previous accounting or finance experience
  • GCP AI Platform familiarity
  • Background in Mathematics or Statistics
  • Fluency in French is an asset

 

Advanced knowledge of English is required, because you will, most of the time, interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.), interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.), as part of this position's main responsibilities, given its international scope.

Salary Range:  $86,000-$130,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%
