Description

Our team and what we'll accomplish together

Join the Prepaid Base Management & Product team and shape the trajectory of Canada's fastest-growing prepaid portfolios. We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to take ownership of the strategic direction and performance of the Public Mobile and Koodo Prepaid customer bases.

The Prepaid Base & Product team plays a critical role in TELUS' success. As prepaid adoption accelerates in the competitive Canadian telecom market, we're responding with agility and strategic innovation. We manage and grow the TELUS, Public, and Koodo Prepaid portfolios, helping thousands of Canadians begin their journey with a mobility provider. We're agile, collaborative, and driven by curiosity, working to unlock growth, adapt to change, and deliver real value.

In this role, you'll lead long-term strategy for Public and Koodo Prepaid, driving retention, ARPU growth, and cross-brand alignment through end-to-end initiatives. You'll evolve the tools and reporting that surface cohort-level insights and guide strategic decisions, operationalize complex programs, and partner across teams to align digital, pricing, and campaign priorities. You'll also mentor and develop product coordinators on the team while collaborating with senior stakeholders across the organization to amplify your impact. We're looking for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and brings a strong sense of ownership and energy to a fun and collaborative culture.

What you'll do

As a Senior Product Manager, you'll be responsible for:

  • Owning overall base strategy, including long-term retention and ARPU growth plans across Public and Koodo Prepaid. You'll report to the Manager of Products & Services and partner daily with Digital Product, Pricing Science, Marketing, and Channel teams to align on customer acquisition, retention, and monetization strategies

  • Measuring KPIs and tracking progress toward key portfolio goals using our business intelligence platform, analytics tools, and reporting dashboards. You'll become expert in the systems and tools that surface the insights guiding our decisions

  • Identifying new growth opportunities and bringing innovative ideas to life through hypothesis testing, data analysis, and pilot initiatives before full rollout

  • Building and presenting compelling business cases and recommendations. You'll drive recommendations on pricing and plan structure through our cross-functional governance process, influencing prioritization and decision-making across stakeholder groups

  • Crafting presentations with clear, strategic storytelling for all levels of the organization, from working-level partners to senior leadership

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Digital, Pricing, Channel, Customer Experience, and Strategy, to operationalize complex, multi-workstream programs

Qualifications

What you'll bring

  • 3–5 years of experience in Product Management, Marketing, Growth, Consulting, or a related strategic or analytical role. We value demonstrated impact and capability over tenure alone

  • Demonstrated ability to work with data and analytics to surface insights, build business cases, and influence decisions. You should be comfortable with SQL, Excel, and analytics tools—or willing to quickly upskill

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and operationalize complex initiatives

  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability through evidence of identifying root causes, testing hypotheses, designing A/B tests, or piloting initiatives to validate ideas before full rollout

  • Excellent collaboration and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional partners and align stakeholders

  • Strong communication skills across working-level and executive audiences, with the ability to translate data into compelling narratives

Great-to-haves

  • Experience in telecom or another customer-centric industry

  • A degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field

  • Prior experience in base management or lifecycle marketing

What we give back to you

  • Exposure to all areas of marketing, plus direct interaction with senior leaders

  • A deeper understanding of telecom, product strategy, and customer-first programs

  • A dynamic and fast-paced environment with meaningful impact

  • A diverse and collaborative team culture

  • Mentorship and development opportunities

  • Industry-leading tools and training to support your growth

  • A flexible remote work style

  • A culture that supports giving back to your community

  • Competitive pay and benefits

  • And yes, we also like to have fun!
