The Consumer Base Management team is looking for a Senior Product Manager to develop, innovate and support the evolution of our TELUS and Koodo roaming products. In this role, you will serve as a key thought leader, responsible for maximizing growth, enhancing customer experience and optimizing profitability within the roaming space, through 4P execution and campaign innovation.

As the Senior Product Manager for Roaming, you will establish our portfolio roadmap, identify key growing traveler segments, and evolve our product value proposition with the ultimate goal of growing our roaming revenues.
As a natural, proactive leader, you will work with multiple stakeholders and business units to evolve the program to meet current market dynamics while also delivering exceptional business outcomes. You will play a critical role in our base management strategy, embracing ambiguity and initiating opportunities to develop this role to its full potential.
Here's how
- Lead the strategic development and execution for the roaming portfolio, ensuring alignment with broader organizational objectives and key customer-centric goals
- Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, including market research, competitive analysis, roadmap development, and product launches, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation, optimize customer experience, and achieve strategic business objectives
- Collaborate with marketing, finance, product and partner solutions teams to define and implement pricing strategies, promotions, and product offerings aimed at increasing revenue and improving customer retention
- Own and manage the business case development for new initiatives, ensuring timely and effective execution
- Contribute to executive-level presentations, providing actionable insights and strategic recommendations to the leadership team
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including usage, churn, and revenue metrics, providing insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership to drive growth and profitability
Qualifications
You're the missing piece of the puzzle
- 5+ years experience in strategic planning, portfolio management, or product strategy, ideally within the telecom industry
- Robust capacity to think strategically about a product portfolio and customer journey to uncover and bring to market innovations that translate into business results
- Efficient organization and project management skills to manage & prioritize multiple initiatives simultaneously and calmly navigate ambiguity and high-pressure situations
- Developed analytical mindset with ability to frame a problem, formulate hypothesis, realize analysis, and develop recommendations, combined with proficiency in understanding & manipulating data to provide supporting evidence
- Ability to gain buy-in from all levels of a large organization including senior leadership by leveraging your strong storytelling, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated effectiveness in driving collaboration across a highly matrixed organization with an ability to initiate, develop, and maintain effective relationships
