As a Senior Product Manager – Go-to-Market & Product Marketing, you will be responsible for fueling, and launching, a highly integrated & strategic product/service capability across consumer mobility. In doing so, you will be collaborating with other business units across TELUS, to discover, shape, and deliver against a critical project(s), thus innovating on the way mobility consumers engage with TELUS, throughout their entire mobile device lifecycle. Your objective is to dive deep into the mobility customer journey flow, by identifying, evaluating, prioritizing, and launching new product capabilities, thus ensuring we are delivering a best-in-class customer experience. You will be part of a 6 person team, but will partner with 60+ team members across other functions and numerous external partners as part of your day-to-day work.
Here’s how
- Apply marketing strategy and consulting skill sets to structure complex issues into well defined and articulated strategies, which can then be translated into strategic action plans
- Lead, develop, and execute the marketing strategy for new mobile device product capabilities, spanning 60+ stakeholders including technology strategy, marketing enablement, pricing, product, marketing communications, channel, base communications, and digital teams
- Develop strong relationships with stakeholders at peer and executive levels, leveraging a strong ability to influence without authority to drive projects forward
- Innovate on the mobile device customer journey, both in digital & physical channels, by thinking through a multitude of customer use cases/scenarios to deliver a seamless experience
- Use keen financial acumen, business casing prowess, and close collaboration with enablement and technology strategy teams to bring new product capabilities to market
- Post program/service launch, transition to leadership and program management to launch cross functional strategic programs
- Anticipate the impact of emerging technologies (e.g. 5G) and device capabilities (i.e. SIM), and search for / develop new capabilities that capitalize on those opportunities

- Excellent relationship building and influencing skills, with a proven ability to maintain strong cross functional relationships
- Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, and is willing to take complete ownership of a project end-to-end
- Proficient in developing strong business cases, leveraging keen financial and strategic acumen
- Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities, under tight timelines, whilst navigating an environment of rapid change
- All star communicator, who has a strong presence interacting with senior leaders in a large organization
- Passionate, dynamic, and committed, looking to continuously raise the stakes in their role
Great-to-haves
- 4-7 years of progressive work experience; preferably in product management, strategy or marketing functions
- Post-secondary degree in business, engineering or similar - MBA is an asset but not required
- Industry experience in telecommunications, management consulting, or technology
- Skills in consulting, project/program management, marketing strategy
