At the heart of TELUS's rapidly growing connected home ecosystem sits the Commercial Performance team—a strategic, high-visibility unit driving the growth and success of our SmartHome & Security business. We're the architects of end-to-end commercial strategy, translating market insights and performance data into strategies that fuel revenue growth, customer adoption, and lifetime value.
In this role, you'll join a multidisciplinary team of strategic thinkers and doers, working alongside product managers, financial analysts, market managers, and intelligence specialists. You'll work with senior leadership and play a major role in shaping our business future through your insights and recommendations—influencing pricing, channel strategy, and performance management. Your analysis will directly impact how we approach key business decisions, from optimizing our offer strategy to identifying the biggest revenue opportunities. You'll partner with channels, analytics teams, finance, and product leaders across the organization to deliver industry-leading outcomes. What You'll Do
- Performance Storytelling & Insights – Track and report on KPI performance, preparing executive updates that transform complex performance data into compelling narratives. You'll dive deep into offer performance, channel outcomes, and program effectiveness to surface insights that drive decision-making
- Strategic Interlock & Forecasting – Lead critical interlocks with Channels, Finance, and Forecasting teams. You'll provide marketing impacts on forecasts, ensuring alignment across planning and supply. You'll also coordinate with product teams to ensure our SmartHome & Security strategy integrates seamlessly with broader Home Solutions initiatives
- Financial Modeling & Business Casing – Leverage your financial literacy to build robust models and business cases supporting strategic marketing opportunities. From evaluating new offer strategies to assessing market opportunities, you'll develop the financial frameworks that guide decision-making and resource allocation
- Data Analysis & Continuous Optimization – Utilize tools like Looker Studio and Google Sheets to derive actionable insights from complex datasets. You'll monitor performance metrics, identify trends, and recommend optimizations—whether adjusting offer logic, improving channel targeting, or refining loading plans
- Cross-Functional Collaboration – Foster strong relationships with stakeholders across Marketing, Channel, Pricing & Analytics, and Finance. You'll coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously, bringing teams together to solve problems and drive results through influence and strategic insight

- 7+ years of experience in commercial, marketing, or strategic planning roles within telecommunications, IoT, or technology. You have a proven track record driving commercial performance through data-driven strategies and success with bundling or cross-portfolio integration. You understand customer lifecycle dynamics and the Canadian telecommunications landscape
- Proficiency in Google Slides and Sheets – You're comfortable creating presentations and building models/analyses in these tools to communicate insights and recommendations effectively
Great-to-Haves
- Familiarity with Looker Studio and Tableau for data visualization and dashboard development
- Post-secondary degree in Commerce, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
- Passion for SmartHome technology and the connected home ecosystem
