While experience in the security industry is beneficial, it is not mandatory. We value strategic-minded transformation leaders who can thrive in a dynamic environment and implement lasting change across products and processes.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you'll be a part of a dynamic team responsible for the development and expansion of business security and automation solutions. Working at the intersection of technology, business enablement, and customer experience, you'll manage a strategic product and services roadmap, gather and prioritize market requirements, develop business cases, and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy: Define, articulate, and implement product strategy across various portfolios
- Roadmap Development: Manage product roadmaps and collaborate with enabling teams to oversee lifecycle, including product and services introduction, optimization, and retirement
- Implementation: Drive strategy and execution of business initiatives while collaborating with stakeholders to define opportunities that optimize processes and deliver excellent customer experiences
- Thought Leadership: Define, analyze, and present product opportunities to senior leadership and stakeholders
- Relationship Building: Build strong work relationships with partners across TELUS and external vendor partners
- Subject Matter Expert (SME): Serve as the SME for our business security products
- Customer Experience: Enhance engagement and improve experiences for both current and new customers
- Key Performance Indicators: Revenue, COGS (Cost of Goods Sold), Margin, Churn, Customer L2R (Likelihood to Recommend)
Qualifications

You are likely in a similar strategy, marketing, or product position today, possessing many of the following abilities and experience points:
- Product Management Experience: Expertise in agile product development is advantageous
- Business Case Development: Ability to build effective business cases and articulate succinct business rationale to an executive audience, including financial projections
- Communication Skills: Ability to effectively convey ideas to peers, executives, and external partners
- Technical/Business Curiosity: Natural curiosity and willingness to delve into the details of a solution to own the experience as the business prime
- Adaptability: Proven track record in balancing immediate and long-term priorities while being flexible and adaptable
Great-to-Haves:
We are particularly eager to connect with individuals who have one or more of the following:
- 5+ years of experience in product management, product development, or service design
- Experience in the physical security industry, particularly with globally recognized vendors
- University degree, preferably in Business, Engineering, or Computer Science
- Professional Engineering accreditation or MBA
