At the cross-section of Marketing, Strategy, and Finance, the Product Strategy team provides insight and strategic direction for all Wireline products including internet, TV, and SmartHome Security. We are a group of results-driven and dynamic professionals dedicated to meeting our customer’s needs and our goal is to enable the best business decisions through enthusiasm, collaboration, and data-based decision making. As the Senior Product Manager for TV, you will shape and drive our strategy and provide cross-functional leadership as the champion for the product.

As a leader on the team, you will provide strategic and financial guidance for our TV portfolio, including overseeing product performance as the P&L owner. Your analytical expertise will help inform our TV strategy and your collaborative attitude will drive decision-making. Your commitment & enthusiasm for product ownership will help rally the organization around key initiatives and programs, and you will be a trusted partner & leader for the future of TELUS TV.
Here's how
- Financial Performance Ownership: Own financial performance for TV products including cash flow, P&L statement, lifetime value, and financial reporting
- Product Management Support: Provide product management support by creating and executing short and long-term product plans to simplify business complexities
- Program Ownership: Own key TV programs, rally teams around improvement opportunities, and provide leadership with transparency on performance and progress
- Internal Partnership: Build new relationships and create collaborative opportunities to maintain industry-leading approach and execution
- TV Portfolio Management: Manage TV portfolio aspects to improve KPIs such as churn, customer experience, value for money, and profitability
- Monthly Updates: Provide monthly product performance updates to senior leadership, becoming a trusted advisor with insights on key drivers and progress to targets
- Strategy Development: Develop and implement product evolution and pricing strategies to maximize profit growth
Qualifications

- Relevant Experience: Noted for your significant experience in marketing, product management, or finance, overseeing a portfolio, bringing products to market, and working with cross-functional partner teams to evolve a product or service
- Sales Improvement Focused: With a balanced focus on customer experience and sales, you look for opportunities to change and improve the experience, build relationships, and deliver on results
- Exceptional Communicator: An exceptional communicator, you simplify complex information, tell the story, and support your recommendations with data insights
- Innovative Thinking: You bring forward ideas and make recommendations to help evolve customers' experience and the product
- Customer-Centric Approach: Noted for your customer-centric approach, you bring forward feedback, share the voice of the customer, and use customer insights to identify actions
Great-to-haves
- MBA or equivalent experience
- Experience or certificates in Product Management, Marketing, Strategy, Finance, or Project Management
- Knowledge of TELUS cross-functional operations and/or industry experience

Salary Range: $96,000-$144,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 15%
Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
