The AI Products & Platform team is an agile team focused on building machine learning applications which enable dynamic experiences that adapt to the behaviour of our customers. Some of the solutions we’ve worked on include product & article recommendation, fraud detection, lead scoring and natural language analysis. Our team of data scientists, analysts and engineers allows us to build end to end solutions from data ingestion to model serving.

Here’s the impact you’ll make and what we’ll accomplish together 

As a Product Owner on the AI Products & Platform team, you will be responsible to enable TELUS team members to understand how machine learning can be embedded into customer interactions to drive business benefits such as RGUs and self-serve benefits. To do this, you will manage stakeholder requirements & documentations, drive data privacy processes, and facilitate cross-collaboration effort of both technical and business team members across organization. 

This is a full-time, permanent position. Remote work is available anywhere in Canada.  #LI-Remote
 

Here’s how: 
 

  • Drive AI Products and Platform maturity with TELUS by designing machine learning solutions working with our data science, analytics, and ML Ops Engineering teams
  • Develop roadmap for various AI enablement and analytical use cases to deliver tangible EBIDTA or opex effort reduction business outcomes
  • Business casing to project the value of embedding machine learning solutions into different areas of the business
  • Partner with teams within TELUS Digital and wider TELUS to ensure our team drives what’s needed to fulfill both short- and long-term company goals
  • Overseeing, assisting, and prioritizing team’s in-flight workload and backlog of user stories that will drive customer value and help reduce customer effort
  • Focus on outcomes, working through ambiguity & delivering with a "no task is too big or too small" attitude
  • Having a healthy obsession for finding “better ways” to do things


 

Qualifications


You're the missing piece of the puzzle: 
 

  • Known for your intellectual curiosity, grit, and a genuine passion for solving problems with machine learning and predictive analytics
  • A knack for building interpersonal relationships with a variety of stakeholders ( Both business and technical)
  • Familiar with JIRA, Confluence, Waterfall and Agile SDLC practices in order to support Developers, Tech Leads, PO’s, Architects, Analysts
  • You are an entrepreneur and self-motivating, with experience leading product departments
  • You use both quantitative and qualitative research to improve the product
  • Ability to influencing without authority when managing complex, cross-functional programs


 

Great-to-haves
 

  • Foundational knowledge of machine learning and Google Cloud Platform
  • Ability to perform ad-hoc data analysis to quantify various metrics
  • Understanding of the digital landscape and data analytics tools and trends
  • Post-secondary education in related disciplines such as digital, business/marketing, AI, analytics
