The Opportunity… We are looking for a highly motivated and curious Senior Program Manager to join our Strategic Operations team within the TELUS Consumer Solutions, Data & AI Insights business unit. In this role, you will balance technical project execution with a strong ability to drive influence across the business through stakeholder management and relationship building. What You Will Own and Lead: As a core member of the Strategic Operations team, you will step into a highly visible portfolio:

 

  • Intake & Arbitration: You will lead intake management and ticket arbitration for the business, collaborating with many stakeholders across Channels, Marketing, Product etc. to bring clarity, and simplicity to requests and portfolio assignment for our director organization
  • Insights & Product Roadmaps: You will lead the strategic planning and roadmaps for Insights Packages and Packets, working in tight collaboration with our insight teams and director+ sponsors to ensure strong strategic planning and execution of our products
  • Vendor Partnerships: You will support our third-party data vendor partnerships, which includes assisting with vendor searches, contract negotiations, financial invoicing, and managing data contracts that bring new and exciting data assets and capabilities to our team
  • Executive & Strategic Projects: You will support high-level ELT (Executive Leadership Team) asks and special projects, taking on PMO duties, project planning, executive presentations, and strategic storytelling that drives meaningful change across our organization,and truly makes a difference in our performance
  • Consumer Governance: You will provide critical support to our team's Consumer Insight Governance portfolio, leading stakeholders across the organization in our efforts to simplify, standardize, and streamline our business operations

Qualifications

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

  • 8+ years of demonstrated experience managing stakeholder relations: You excel at direct business stakeholder requirements gathering, defect arbitration, and guiding projects to completion. You thrive on owning projects end-to-end (E2E)
  • 4+ years of experience with strategic program design or a like field
  • 5+ years of experience working with technical, privacy, security etc. teams in a cross functional fashion: A proven track record of supporting technical, data-driven initiatives, drawing on past experiences with cloud migrations (such as GCP), SAS, or advanced data reporting projects
  • 2+ years of experience managing vendor relationships, contracts and/or negotiations

 

Additional Requirements:

 

  • Business Acumen: You bring specialized knowledge or past experience supporting meaningful business initiatives and can demonstrate meaningful understanding of a normal business and its traditional acumen
  • Personality: Proactive, mission oriented, self driven, and excited to steer programs from ideation to execution and beyond

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Experience with AI programs is strongly preferred
  • Project Management Certification
  • Experience in Telecommunications is an asset but not required

 

Salary Range:  $86,000-$136,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience.
