You will be joining the Project Management and Operations Office to drive and bring our EMR & CHR solutions to our customers. As the Senior Program Manager, you will be responsible for successfully executing migration programs for our customers. You will engage with key stakeholders across our business to maintain, manage and report our progress. You have a strong background in project management methodologies, principles and practices. You will need the personality to take control of the program, and influence the program direction. Most importantly, you are a team player who works best in collaborative environments and understands the importance of building and maintaining an engaging culture.

Where you will focus

 

  • Developing a program approach to our platform migrations to improve the team’s ability to manage workload, support customer deliverables and maintain balance for health and well-being
  • Pivot and execute on this large strategic program to support teams in maintaining & tracking our overall progress of sunset activities
  • Achieving success through program consistency, while supporting continuous improvement opportunities of business process and practices
  • Prioritizing program activities of the highest corporate wide significance and impact
  • Collaborating with key business partners, including Sales, Marketing, Implementation, Data Migration, Product Management and Customer Success to achieve a high quality program tied to the customer’s journey

  • Works with the Project Manager for the execution of projects and its impact on the program
  • Execute program plans (quality, risk, communication) to align the program outcomes with stakeholder expectations and standards
  • Monitor cost, schedule and technical performance of component projects and operations
  • Develops the Program Plan with the team and supports the team's performance on go live commitments
  • Ensure control of projects dealing with conflicting priorities, issues, risks, dependencies and change
  • Communicate program details effectively and effectively communicates with internal teams and external stakeholders

 

 

Qualifications

  • With 5 - 7 years leading cross functional programs and stakeholder groups
  • With a bachelor degree from an accredited university in Information Systems, Health Sciences, Business Administration or equivalent experience or education is required
  • With project management methodologies, principles and practices, and ability to take initiative and drive projects forward
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities combined with strong organization and time management skills
  • The ability to work effectively with various levels of management across cross functional teams
  • Strong interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), collaborative, presentations and facilitation skills
  • Suburb customer service orientation, with experience handling client expectations
  • A fast self-learner with exceptional follow-through
  • Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP)

 

 

Salary Range:  $97,000-$145,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance, experience and location. Additionally, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
