As the Senior Program Manager of Tenant Experience, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of this mission-critical initiative. This is an exciting time to join as we're still in the early stages of designing and developing this cloud-native platform. This role reports to the Director of Tenant Experience for SmartHome.
What you’ll do in this role:
As a Senior Program Manager at TELUS, you will oversee the SmartHome+ Tenant program, ensuring it serves our customers, referred to as tenants, and aligns with our strategic goals. This role involves defining program objectives, developing a comprehensive roadmap with timelines, milestones, and deliverables, and allocating essential resources such as budgets and personnel. You will monitor project progress, facilitate communication among teams and stakeholders, and address conflicts or issues that arise.

- Identify key stakeholders, understand their needs, provide regular updates, and ensure alignment with program goals.
- Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and monitor them continuously.
- Track progress, generate status reports, analyze data for trends, and oversee the program budget.
- Ensure projects meet quality standards, implement quality assurance processes, and conduct regular reviews.
- Provide direction to project managers, foster team collaboration, and identify training needs.
- Document and approve changes to the program scope, communicate them to stakeholders, and adapt plans.
- Lead status meetings, review progress reports, update senior management, and prepare detailed program reports.
Qualifications
What you bring:
- 5+ years of experience as a Program Manager or similar role.
- Ability to bring teams together to focus on goals and understand business objectives.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to listen to and interpret stakeholder feedback.
- Agile Certification (LeSS, ACP, CSM, SAFe) or equivalent work experience.
- Comfort with ambiguity and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience managing roadmaps and reporting, understanding the business impact.
- Expertise in using data to inform and drive decisions.
Great-to-haves:
- Technical or data-driven educational background or MBA.
- Positive, collaborative, and friendly attitude.
- Experience with business casing and KPIs.
- Knowledge of voice platforms and virtual assistants.
- University degree in Business or a similar discipline.
