Description

 

We are seeking an experienced Sustainability Reporting Specialist to join our team and lead our efforts in meeting global sustainability reporting requirements.

 

Role Overview: Lead the implementation of CSRD/ESRS compliance initiatives, focusing on double materiality assessment analysis and development of comprehensive sustainability disclosure strategies for 2025 reporting requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Analyze double materiality assessment results against sustainability reporting diagnostic
  • Identify and prioritize material sustainability gaps
  • Develop and manage comprehensive roadmap for gap closure including detailed action plan
  • Lead the creation of ESRS (EUROPEAN SUSTAINABLILITY REPORTING STANDARDS) -compliant Sustainability Statement for 2025
  • Provide technical guidance on CSRD (CORPORATE SUSTAINABLITY REPORTING DIRECTIVE) /ESRS requirements
  • Manage stakeholder relationships across business units

 

 

Qualifications

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Advanced degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, or related field
  • 3-5+ years’ experience in sustainability reporting and ESG frameworks
  • Demonstrated expertise in CSRD/ESRS requirements and double materiality assessments
  • Strong project management and business case development skills
  • Experience with stakeholder management and team leadership
  • Demonstrated expertise in advanced data analysis and comprehensive sustainability reporting

 

Technical Competencies:

 

  • Deep understanding of ESRS disclosure requirements
  • Proficiency in materiality assessment methodologies
  • Strong analytical and gap analysis capabilities
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
  • Experience with sustainability reporting frameworks (GRI, SASB, TCFD)
  • Advanced Excel/Sheets and data visualization skills
  • Knowledge of control design, implementation and testing

 

Leadership Competencies:

 

  • Stakeholder engagement and management
  • Project leadership and RACI framework implementation
  • Strategic planning and roadmap development
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to interact confidently with Executive leadership

 

Key Deliverables:

 

1.Gap analysis report comparing materiality assessment results with sustainability reporting diagnostic
2.Prioritized action plan for addressing material issues
3.Comprehensive implementation roadmap with:

  • Clear priorities and timelines
  • Stakeholder mapping
  • RACI matrices
  • Business cases for key initiatives

4.ESRS-compliant Sustainability Statement draft for 2025

Salary Range:  $97,000-$145,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%
