As a Senior Program Manager, you’ll play a critical role in shaping our strategic initiatives, driving complex programs from inception to completion, and ensuring that we deliver results that align with our ambitious goals.


What You’ll Do:

 

  • Lead with Vision: Develop and execute comprehensive roadmaps, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and providing regular updates, financial forecasts, and delivery plans
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with technical teams and key stakeholders to ensure end-to-end project delivery, from infrastructure deployment to software development
  • Drive Portfolio Excellence: Oversee portfolio budgets (CAPEX & OPEX), ensuring financial discipline while optimizing resources to drive high-impact outcomes
  • Strategic Partnership: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners, collaborating to execute strategic initiatives that move the needle
  • Enhance Process Efficiency: Contribute to creating standardized practices, tools, and templates for program and project management, ensuring consistency and high-quality outcomes
  • Portfolio Health Monitoring: Create tools to monitor program performance, providing leadership with key insights on health, risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Executive Engagement: Lead high-impact executive forums, driving strategic decision-making and executing action plans to move initiatives forward
  • Champion Innovation: Bring fresh ideas and best practices to elevate program delivery, focusing on process improvement and operational innovation

 

What You Bring:

 

  • Proven ability to deliver complex IT projects on time, on budget, and with exceptional quality
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire teams, collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders at all levels
  • Superior communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex concepts into clear, actionable insights
  • Strong relationship-building abilities, fostering collaboration across diverse teams and vendors
  • Creative problem-solver with an innovative mindset, always looking for ways to improve and challenge the status quo
  • Adaptability and resilience in the face of uncertainty and change, with a commitment to driving results and ensuring portfolio visibility

Qualifications

 

  • 3-5 years of experience in technical project management, successfully delivering IT projects
  • Bachelor's degree in Technology, Engineering, Business, or related fields
  • Expertise in managing large-scale infrastructure and software development projects
  • Ability to foster collaborative working relationships and champion diversity of thought

 

Nice-to-Haves:

 

  • PMP, Agile, CSM certifications
  • Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma
  • Experience in software automation, cloud migrations, hardware deployments, and data analytics
  • Knowledge of telecommunications operations

Salary Range:  $94,000-$140,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits such as:
