The Industry Solutions Service Introduction and Smart Transportation Program Office is the driving force behind the onboarding of services in support of our 5G & Industry Solutions Connectivity strategy. Are you an experienced and dynamic Senior Program Manager looking to be at the forefront of our 5G & Industry Solutions Connectivity strategy, driving the onboarding of innovative services and propelling our business unit to new heights.

As a Senior Program Manager, you’ll have the drive to work through ambiguity and energy to ensure every deliverable is completed.

 

Of course, to make this all happen, you’ll communicate with clarity and confidence to lead, inspire and inform stakeholders so they can do their part. When challenges arise, you’ll overcome these by seeking to understand, developing creative solutions, communicating, collaborating, negotiating and escalating when appropriate. Here are some of the key responsibilities you will lead in this role:

 

  • Lead and execute key service development programs for new products and integrated solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Business Marketing, IT Systems, and Operational Delivery
  • Govern complex programs through project streams coordination, collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, CTO, Operations, etc.) ensuring interlock across multiple teams and business units
  • Execute program plans (quality, risk, communication, resourcing, etc.) to align the program outcomes with stakeholder expectations and standards
  • Monitor cost, schedule and technical performance of component projects and operations
  • Ensure control of projects dealing with conflicting priorities, issues, risks dependencies and change
  • Develop and communicate executive-level reporting on program achievements and progress against all KPIs
  • Facilitate and support strategic discussions and recommendations at the director and VP level
  • Champion our TELUS culture and values with new TELUS team members

  • You are a strong collaborator and relationship builder: someone that works well in cross-functional teams and builds trust easily
  • You are constantly curious: you are inquisitive by nature, unafraid to try different approaches to solve a problem and leverage best practices from other teams

 

Great to haves:

 

We are especially motivated to connect with individuals with one or more of the following:

 

  • Knowledge & awareness of the TELUS 5G & Industry Solutions organizational design, team culture, work processes and value chain systems or equivalent B2B experience
  • 5-7 years of applicable experience
  • PMP designation or equivalent experience

 

 

Salary Range:  $94,000-$140,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
