As a Senior Program Manager specializing in Warehousing, Logistics, and 3PL Management within the Chief Procurement Office, you will play a crucial role in optimizing TELUS's supply chain operations. You will lead and support the development and execution of strategic initiatives related to warehousing, distribution, and third-party logistics partnerships, while ensuring new capabilities are effectively integrated with existing systems and future roadmaps. Your expertise in 3PL RFP management, warehouse operations, and logistics optimization will be essential in creating efficient, cost-effective, and value generating capabilities together with teams across the organization.

 

What you’ll do

 

  • Lead 3PL RFP processes, including vendor selection, evaluation, and contract negotiation together with teams in the organization
  • Manage and optimize warehousing operations, focusing on inventory control, order fulfillment, and distribution center efficiency
  • Partner with technology and business teams to align current logistics operations with future capability requirements, ensuring seamless integration of new solutions with existing processes
  • Collaborate with teams to develop, implement, and support logistics optimization strategies, enhancing transportation management and supply chain analytics
  • Oversee the integration of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and emerging technologies to improve operational efficiency
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with 3PL partners, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with teams to analyze and optimize supply chain costs, implementing cost-saving initiatives and value-added services

What you bring

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field; MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehousing, logistics, and 3PL management, preferably in the telecommunications industry
  • Proven track record in managing complex 3PL RFP processes and vendor selection
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and distribution processes
  • Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementation and integration
  • Working knowledge of supply chain analytics and logistics KPIs to effectively evaluate performance and influence program outcomes
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a data-centred approach to decision-making
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills for effective vendor management

Salary Range:  $97,000-$145,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
