The TELUS Business Solutions (TBS) Post Acquisition Integration Team develops comprehensive integration processes and best practices to ensure we maximize the considerable expertise and capabilities of the acquisitions we make to drive stronger interlock between our teams, compete more effectively and drive inorganic growth outcomes for B2B.

 

This role will support the TELUS Custom Security Portfolio.

 

TELUS Custom Security Systems (TCSS) acquired the leading providers of Security and Automation solutions to become the largest and fastest growing Security company in Canada.

 

TCSS’ Security portfolio is a significant differentiator for our TELUS Business Solutions team; it’s an immense growth opportunity to widen our leadership and drive national market share growth. As we look to amplify our growth, we’re unlocking new sales opportunities through our direct and indirect sales channels including: the Mid-Market + Enterprise B2B segments, GoCo (formed by TELUS), Value Added Resellers (VARs) and our Dealer partners.

 

We have ambitious targets as we ramp our sales channels nationally and tap into new market segments to fuel our growth. In a new and growing space, on a new and growing team, you will have an opportunity to make a significant impact on our trajectory, leading the program management of our strategic plans.

 

Here’s the impact you’ll make:

 

As a Senior Program Manager, you will be part of a high profile portfolio and report to the Director, Business Strategy + Enablement.

 

Through your programmatic approach you will: solve problems, overcome challenges of ambiguous concepts, introduce new and innovative ideas, drive continuous improvement and strong interlock between teams.

 

Here's how:

 

  • Develop and lead strategic programs that will drive growth and increase sales performance across our B2B sales channels through ideation, integration of process improvement and best practices sharing
  • Build the playbook to successfully onboard new and existing sales channels to strategic programs. Develop the blueprint to build traction and gain momentum post launch
  • Identify, develop and implement initiatives that improve operational processes and interlock between sales teams
  • Act as the voice of the sales channels to remove barriers and drive meaningful change through our partners in Product, Marketing + Operations, allowing our sales teams to focus on what they do best, providing a best-in-class customer experience
  • In collaboration with our Sales + Enablement teams, measure performance of programs and tactics through data driven insights. Implement outlier management programs to drive improvements
  • Drive mindshare, awareness and adoption of programs by ensuring Sales teams are receiving premium training and tools to provide coaching and reinforcement to their teams as the needs and maturity of the channel evolve
  • Govern complex programs through project streams coordination, business resource allocation and project management leadership ensuring interlock across multiple teams and business units
  • Develop effective updates and presentations, reporting and tracking of all program activities, from working-level to executive audiences
  • Provide thought leadership in solving problems and helping to remove program roadblocks 
  • Facilitate and support strategic discussions and recommendations at the director and VP level

  • You are a compelling communicator: clear, concise and influential in all aspects of communication, including compelling storytelling and presentations
  • You look to continuously improve our team’s processes to optimize the go to market planning, communication, project management, stakeholder engagement and interlock between teams
  • You are inquisitive, curious and not afraid to try different approaches to solve a problem and leverage best practices from other business units

 

Great to haves:

 

  • Bachelor's degree; MBA or equivalent in education and experience
  • An understanding B2B Sales
  • Salesforce.com (SFDC) experience
