The Industry Solutions New Service Introduction and Smart Transportation Program Office is the driving force behind the onboarding of services in support of our 5G & Industry Solutions Connectivity strategy. As a trusted advisor, you will play a pivotal role in executing on key programs and initiatives that propel our business unit to new heights of success. With your expertise and guidance, you will revolutionize our delivery on exceptional customer experiences. Your primary objective will be to ensure all projects are effectively delivered meeting or exceeding the desired outcomes for our organization, while also ensuring that our operations teams are fully prepared and equipped to seamlessly transition during deployments.

What you’ll do

 

  • Manage and drive the implementation of enterprise level projects in a multi-faceted, challenging, complex, multi-disciplined environment
  • Manage all aspects of the projects from initiate, plan, execute, control and closure ensuring project dependencies are identified and actioned
  • Lead and collaborate cross-functional teams
  • Create and present all levels of reporting/presentations from status reports to executive level summaries
  • Drive resolution for conflicting priorities, resource issues, dependencies, risk management, contingency planning and scope change requirements
  • Manage budgets completing monthly and quarterly financial reports ensuring accruals are completed on time and actuals are accurately reported
  • Coordinate and facilitate meetings and working sessions

  • Advanced project management methodologies, principles and practices; skilled in turning ambiguous or complex tasks into simple, digestible and actionable plans
  • Ability to work effectively with various levels of management and cross functional teams
  • You are a self-starter with a passion for working in a dynamic, high performance culture with advanced organizational and time management skills
  • A strategic thinker, able to consider the downstream impacts and identify adjacencies and opportunities for collaboration and cross functional engagement
  • You are an exceptional collaboration, negotiation, presentation, facilitation skills, relationship management, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Agile learner with the ability to operate at the intersections of big ideas and small details, thinking and doing, boldness and humility, leading and following
  • You are adept at managing cross-functional projects and stakeholder groups or relevant work experience

 

Great-to-haves

 

We are especially motivated to connect with people who have one or more of the following:

 

  • University Degree in Commerce/Business preferred or Business Diploma with relevant work experience
  • Familiarity with Asana
  • Project Management Certification (PMP, PMI, etc..) or MBA
  • Bilingual fluency (English - French)

 

 

Salary Range:  $95,000-$143,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
