What You Will Do

Lead transformational change across TELUS's enterprise technology landscape as a Senior Project Manager driving the evolution of our Service-NOW platform and ITSM ecosystem. You'll own end-to-end delivery of complex, high-stakes projects—managing enterprise and mid-market customer migrations from legacy systems while championing innovation that enhances both customer and employee experiences.

 

Your core responsibilities include:

  • Strategic Project Leadership – Manage large-scale, multi-track initiatives with significant business impact. Define scope, secure resources, develop realistic schedules, and ensure timely delivery

  • Financial Stewardship – Own project budgets, track spend against forecasts, and optimize resource allocation to maximize ROI

  • Risk & Issue Management – Proactively identify and mitigate risks while managing conflicting priorities, dependencies, and change requests

  • Quality Assurance – Establish and enforce quality standards, ensuring all deliverables meet enterprise requirements

  • Stakeholder Excellence – Build strong relationships with executives and cross-functional teams. Deliver compelling progress updates and keep stakeholders informed on status and risks

  • Team Development – Build high-performing teams by coaching in modern project management methodologies and mentoring emerging talent

  • Process Optimization – Establish integrated performance management systems and identify opportunities to streamline delivery

  • Business Acumen – Understanding of financial management and how project delivery impacts business outcomes

 

Technical Qualifications

Required:

  • University degree or 7+ years of equivalent hands-on project management experience managing complex, cross-functional projects

  • Professional Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) – current and active

 

Assets & Experience:

  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent process improvement certification

  • TELUS PM Silver certification (for internal candidates)

  • Enterprise-scale Service-NOW implementations or ITSM platform migrations

  • Software platforms or digital transformation initiatives delivery

  • Process improvement, automation, or legacy system modernization background

  • Coaching and developing project management capabilities within teams

  • Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies

Salary Range:  $86,000-$136,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience.
