Description

 

Team & Goal: Join the Consumer Solutions team managing SmartEnergy, a global Energy-as-a-Service platform helping Canadians reduce energy costs and carbon footprint through smart home technology. Reporting to the Director, Energy Products and Services, you'll drive operational excellence for complex B2B utility partnerships and ecosystem expansion across Canada.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Help deliver partnership roadmaps and cross-functional coordination (product, engineering, field ops, CX, legal, marketing) across active utility partnerships
  • Serve as primary operational contact for external utility partners; facilitate governance reviews and joint sessions
  • Identify and resolve partnership risks, issues, and bottlenecks to protect delivery timelines
  • Manage project tools, communication, and executive reporting on progress, risks, and decisions
  • Track partnership KPIs and escalate blockers with recommended solutions
  • Lead end-to-end execution of utility partnership pilots and go-to-market activities
  • Support demand response event planning and maintain governance structures for transparent communication
  • Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and scalability

 

 

Qualifications

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • 5+ years managing complex, multi-stakeholder programs in project/program management
  • Proven B2B partnership or strategic alliance delivery experience (technology, energy, utilities, or telecom preferred)
  • Ability to drive alignment across cross-functional teams without direct authority
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills
  • Experience with program roadmaps, project tools, executive reporting, and pilot program management
  • Exceptional written/verbal communication and organizational skills

 

Great-to-Haves:

 

  • Energy, smart home, utilities, or cleantech experience
  • B2B platform integration, API, or IoT ecosystem familiarity
  • PMP credential
  • Bilingual (English/French)
  • Regulated industry or public sector experience

 

 

Salary Range:  $86,000-$160,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience.
