The TELUS Health Care Centres team is looking for a Senior Proposal Manager to manage, design, develop and write our proposals. You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product and other cross-functional teams to develop professional high quality and innovative proposals for strategic and complex opportunities.

 

As the Senior. Proposal Manager you will work on all aspects of the proposal development process in partnership with other teams from inception to final delivery including the development, writing and delivery of TELUS Health Care Centres proposal responses. You will collaborate with Sales and cross-functional teams to clearly identify and establish proposal strategies, create executive summaries and contribute to the delivery of professional proposal documentation. This role is also responsible for all final editing ensuring that proposals pass quality standards and compliance including client procurement requirements.

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Manage Proposal Development Process:
    • Oversee all aspects of proposal development from inception to final delivery
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Product, Legal and others
  • Design and Develop Proposals:
    • Create professional, high-quality, and innovative proposals for strategic and complex opportunities
    • Develop proposal strategies in partnership with Sales and other teams
  • Writing and Editing:
    • Write and develop TELUS Health Care Centres proposal responses
    • Ensure all proposals meet quality standards and compliance requirements
    • Perform final editing of proposals to ensure accuracy and compliance with client procurement requirements
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with Sales and cross-functional teams to establish clear proposal strategies
    • Create comp[elling executive summaries for proposals
    • Contribute to the delivery of professional proposal documentation

 

 

Qualifications

 

What you bring:

 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in relevant field
  • APMP Foundation Certification
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in proposal management or business development
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Experience with proposal development processes and best practices
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and quality assurance capabilities

 

Great to haves:

 

  • Experience in healthcare, technology or occupational health industry
  • Comprehensive knowledge of RFx response and procurement processes
  • Proficiency with proposal management software and tools
  • Understanding of sales processes and customer relationship management
  • Previous experience in a cross-functional team environment

 

Advanced knowledge of English is required because you will most of the time interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.); interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.); and work with IT tools whose interface is only accessible in English as part of this position's main responsibilities given its national scope.

Salary Range:  $76,000-$114,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  12%
