One of the most interesting team functions in TELUS. At TELUS we take team member, customer, and asset security very seriously. We are always deploying the latest investigative technics and methods to achieve best in class Corporate Investigations Team. You will be tasked to investigate complex and high impact cases protecting TELUS in a wide scope of threats and breaches. You will be actively collaborating with core business units to deliver successful case outcomes to our people and brand.


What you’ll do


  • Conduct various complex internal and external investigations
  • Work with outside agencies such as Law Enforcement, Courts and Legal to bring cases to resolution
  • Work closely with Internal Stakeholders including Human Resources, Labor Relations, Legal Service and other TELUS Security Teams
  • Produce summary investigation reports for distribution to TELUS leaders
  • Query and Analyze various electronic data sources for case evidence
  • Thoroughly build and document cases to support findings and resolutions
  • Provide Security recommendations and participate in Projects for proactive measures
  • Evaluate cases for patterns and trends to identify failures in policies, procedures and/or internal controls
  • Urgent response for threats toward TELUS assets and personnel
  • Provide Security Awareness presentations to Internal and External audiences





What you bring 


  • At least 5 years of experience in an investigative position
  • Proficient computer skills, computer application and database query language
  • Strong report writing and communications skills
  • Familiarity of the Criminal and Civil Justice System
  • Knowledge of diversity and cultural issues
  • Ability to respond to urgent incidents outside regular business hours
  • Ability to obtain a Private Investigator License
  • Ability to obtain a Government of Canada Security Clearance




  • Experience as a court or arbitration witness
  • Working knowledge in the Telecommunications industry
  • Familiarity of Digital Forensic concepts, Fraud and Technical investigations
