We are the Digital Journey Analytics team for Digital Product Strategy and Transformation (DPST). Our mandate is to make TELUS digital analytics data accessible to everyone and to discover data-driven actionable insights that can optimize digital sales and service journeys on TELUS.com and the My TELUS App.

 

Here’s how

 

  • Dashboard development: Developing clean and clear exec-level dashboards that make it easy for anyone to view high-level sales and service results. We use tools such as Tableau and Looker Studio to develop these dashboards. 
  • Analysis and data story-telling: Identifying insights to help inform and optimize the digital product strategy work being done by the rest of the DPST team. Then, presenting these insights to various audiences and stakeholders to spur action. 
  • Tracking excellence: Ensuring existing and new capabilities are tracked effectively on TELUS.com and My TELUS App and developing base-level reporting for new product launches.
  • Collaboration: The digital journey analytics team frequently collaborates with each other, other analyst groups, stakeholders, and leaders. We need to be able to understand each person’s objectives/needs and the best way to collaborate with them.

 

 

Qualifications

 

You’re the missing piece of the puzzle

 

  • You are an expert user in digital analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics and how data is captured for these tools
  • Can analyze data to determine WHAT is happening, WHY it’s happening, and what to do about it (i.e. SO WHAT), and actively work with stakeholders to deliver on your data-driven recommendations
  • You are an exceptional data storyteller, able to tell a clear narrative using professional-looking slides
  • You excel in a cross-functional environment that requires working with leaders, designers, product owners, strategy managers, etc. You are able to communicate data to differing groups in terms that they understand
  • You have a growth mindset, and are an engaged, results-driven high-achiever, and are up for the rapid pace of change of a fluid and exciting area of business

 

Great to haves:

 

  • University degree in Business, Statistics, or Computer Science
  • Telecommunication/technology knowledge or experience
  • 5 or more years of digital analytics experience, with a track record of using data analysis to identify actionable insights
  • Experience in A/B testing and heatmap / session-replay tools such as Quantum Metric
  • Tableau or Looker Studio proficiency
  • SQL/GCP proficiency

 

 

Salary Range:  $94,000-$142,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
