As a Senior Strategy Manager - MCNP, you will work closely with engineering leaders, product managers and our executive to develop and interlock cutting edge technology strategies and roadmaps supporting our ambitious business intentions for entertainment and connected home solutions. You will drive and enhance our proactive integrated security and network services strategy and investments in a rapidly evolving technology and threat landscape

What you’ll do

 

  • Leverage your exceptional stakeholdering and leadership capabilities, love of cutting-edge technology and business/financial acumen to collaboratively ideate, plan and justify multi-year strategic technology roadmaps supporting our vision of the future for customers
  • Identify and business case new opportunities, working closely with program execution teams to track resulting benefits capture and make adjustments as required supporting continuous reflection and improvement
  • Leverage your expertise to further craft our short-and long-term strategy, working collaboratively across our stakeholder community to develop, refine, enhance, and implement
  • Coordinate the governance cadence of the team and interlock with key stakeholders
  • Gather, compile and explore complex and multi-dimensional data to support executive discussion and strategic decision-making
  • Analyze performance against the multi-year go-to-market plan through a KPI framework, including team scorecards
  • Build and present team initiatives and performance to executive audiences both internally and externally
  • Utilize your advanced communication skills to publish key updates across the TELUS organization

 

 

Qualifications

 

What you bring

 

  • 5 years of experience within Cybersecurity or Service provider or enterprise Networking
  • You are organized and strategic with an eye for what’s important
  • You thrive in collaborating across different teams, making connections between people and concepts outside of their normal day-to-day activities
  • You enjoy analyzing the future to assess potential outcomes between strategic options and provide recommendations from data analysis
  • You are a compelling communicator, comfortable in conveying strategies to executive audiences both visually and verbally, Master communicator and collaborator: strong verbal and written communication skills, including powerful presentations and key messaging for executive stakeholders
  • You are persuasive, building support for your programs among stakeholders with diverging interests and priorities
  • End to end technology solution and roadmap definition experience: working with technology, business and privacy stakeholders to define interlocking technology roadmaps, from initial visioning and requirements gathering through benchmarking, solutioning, planning and justification
  • Leadership: experience planning, leading or supporting technology delivery transformations 
  • Strategic technology consulting: experience providing valuable technology transformation consulting support for large organizations looking to modernize their digital platforms and software delivery methods
  • Financial acumen: experience using financial modeling to create strong business cases
  • Problem solving: creative approach and willingness to research new approaches and solutions and the ability to work independently to manage deliverables in an environment with high levels of ambiguity
  • Bachelor's degree with a computer science focus
  • MBA candidates preferred

  • GCP or AWS certified professional or similar cloud certification
  • Architecting cloud-based and microservices-based solutions
  • Broad knowledge of TELUS including policies and processes
  • Bilingual (English and French)
