As a Senior Strategy Manager for Mobile and Home, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping TELUS's integrated service strategy, ensuring our mobility, home internet, and entertainment solutions deliver exceptional customer value.

 

Your role will be the critical link between strategy and execution—leveraging data to uncover opportunities, empowering teams to excel, and driving effective cross-selling of Mobile & Home products.

Program Management and Strategy

 

  • Provide clear and concise updates to stakeholders/through regular  forums with a holistic view of program strategy and progress

  • Support with the alignment and distribution of M&H targets across channels

  • Collaborate on key areas requiring support from operation teams

  • Develop and implement integrated planning frameworks that clearly outline how channel-level initiatives contribute to overall targets

 

Sales and Marketing Interlock

 

  • Develop and align on targeted coaching and training strategies for high-potential (opportunity) teams inclusive of cross-selling by mobility agents, incentivizing SmartHome Security agents, increasing leads, etc

  • Set ambitious yet achievable targets reflective of market opportunities, and optimize re-targeting efforts through book-of-business and conversion strategies.

 

Operational Support and Enablement

 

  • Drive performance improvement by identifying underperforming teams, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing retraining strategies in collaboration with Consumer Channels

  • Collaborate with Reporting and Visualization, as well as Performance, Insights and Forecasting teams to garner insights to drive and ensure prioritization of M&H strategic attach

 

Reporting and Data Analysis

 

  • Consolidate and procure the reporting requirements to be shared with the Reporting and Visualization team to drive increased insights and reporting into opportunity areas

  • Utilize quartile management reporting to identify and address areas of low conversion, partnering with Channels for remediation strategies.


 

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in strategy and program management at a senior level

  • Solid background in telecommunications, mobile, or home services industries

  • Demonstrated success in fostering cross-functional collaboration and managing stakeholders effectively

  • Expertise in channel management and sales operations

  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to synthesize and interpret complex data

  • Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools to deliver impactful insights

  • Proven ability to set targets and manage distribution across multiple channels

  • In-depth knowledge of conversion strategies and book-of-business optimization

  • Experience in coaching and developing high-potential teams to achieve excellence

  • Track record of driving performance improvement initiatives and delivering measurable results

  • Understanding of cross-selling strategies and enhancing customer value

  • Skilled in designing and implementing effective incentive programs

  • Ability to identify market opportunities and transform them into actionable strategies

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for crafting compelling presentations

  • Analytical problem-solving mindset with a focus on innovation and efficiency



 

Salary Range:  $99,000-$149,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
