Join our New Channel Growth Team and lead three transformational strategic programs that will accelerate TELUS and Koodo's market growth and customer acquisition. You'll work with a collaborative, fast-moving team of 14 account managers and leaders, driving innovation across Sales, Digital, and Channel Sales while continuously testing, learning, and refining programs based on market feedback.

 

Description

What you'll do

 

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of three strategic workstreams from conception through execution and optimization:

    • Prepaid Retailer Referral Program: Design and launch an engaging referral program targeting existing prepaid retailers, develop incentive structures, expand product portfolio to include Device and Home Services, and establish performance metrics

    • Koodo Prepaid-to-Postpaid Migration Strategy: Develop a comprehensive strategy to graduate Koodo prepaid customers to postpaid offerings, conduct customer segmentation, design conversion incentives, and create marketing campaigns to drive adoption

    • Prepaid Digital Channel Development: Conceptualize and build a new digital-first prepaid sales channel, define channel architecture and customer experience, identify partnership opportunities, and develop go-to-market strategy

  • Present program strategy, progress, and results to senior leadership stakeholders through quarterly business reviews and executive briefings

  • Develop compelling business cases and financial models that communicate program impact, ROI, and strategic value to executive audiences

  • Establish clear KPIs and leverage data analytics to drive adoption and revenue impact in real-time

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to ensure seamless execution

  • Lead weekly program reviews and monthly stakeholder alignment sessions to maintain momentum and address blockers.

Qualifications

What you bring

 

  • 7+ years of experience in strategy, business development, or program management in telecommunications

  • Proven track record developing and executing multi-million dollar strategic initiatives

  • Strong financial acumen with expertise in KPI management, business case development, and ROI analysis

  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills with ability to influence and align stakeholders across all organizational levels

  • Outstanding ability to communicate complex strategies clearly to executive audiences—both written and verbal

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with strong data-driven decision-making capabilities

  • Project management expertise managing complex, multi-workstream initiatives.

 

Great-to-haves

 

  • Demonstrated expertise in digital transformation and omnichannel strategy

  • Familiarity with telecommunications industry dynamics, customer acquisition, and channel management

  • Experience with prepaid/postpaid migration, retail incentive program design, or digital sales channels.

Salary Range:  $86,000-$160,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience.
