The Chief Technology Strategy and Transformation team’s span is wide and critical to TELUS’s success. From AI, Technology Strategy, Network Build and Support, we do it all. Our team is responsible for strategic business planning as well as driving strategic transformational initiatives.

 

 

What you’ll do

 

As a Senior Strategy Manager and a certified Black Belt, you'll spearhead our process excellence initiatives while developing and executing transformational strategies across our end-to-end value chain. This role combines strategic leadership with process improvement expertise to drive national standardization and operational excellence.

 

  • Implement cross-portfolio process improvement roadmaps
  • Lead strategic transformation initiatives using Black Belt methodologies
  • Mentor team in process excellence techniques
  • Drive data-driven decision-making through advanced analytical approaches
  • Develop executive-level communications and storyboards
  • Oversee measurement methodologies for effective and efficient business outcomes
  • Establish national best practices and standards

Qualifications

 

What you bring

 

  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification or higher
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • 10+ years’ in management consulting or corporate strategy
  • Proven experience leading large-scale business transformations
  • Advanced analytical and critical thinking capabilities and excellent visualization skills
  • Strong executive communication and presentation skills
  • Experience as a Mentor in process improvement methodologies

 

 

Great-to-haves

 

  • Telecommunications or consulting background
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies
  • French language proficiency

 

Advanced knowledge of English is required because you will most of the time interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.); interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.); and work with IT tools whose interface is only accessible in English as part of this position's main responsibilities given its national scope.

Salary Range:  $102,000-$154,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits such as:
