What you'll do

 

  • Lead initiatives to streamline financial processes and reduce administrative burden
  • Develop innovative cost management strategies that unlock value for TELUS and the CIO
  • Create comprehensive scorecards and KPIs to measure the impact of CIO initiatives
  • Contribute to strategic planning processes that shape TELUS's technological future
  • Collaborate with technology leaders to ensure financial optimization supports innovation

What you bring

 

Education and Experience

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field; Master's preferred
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience in strategic planning and business management
  • PMP certification and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt & Own.it certifications are considered assets

 

Technical Skills

 

  • Advanced proficiency in project management methodologies, principles, and practices
  • Strong understanding of financial and investment performance metrics
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software
  • Deep understanding of business planning processes and best practices

 

Leadership and Communication

 

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects
  • Advanced interpersonal, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills at various organizational levels
  • Exceptional storytelling and communication skills - verbal, written and visual

 

Analytical and Strategic Thinking

 

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
  • Expertise in developing and implementing optimization strategies

Salary Range:  $102,000-$154,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits such as:
