Who you are
You will help build, improve and achieve the business objectives of the Technical Sales team in TELUS Business. The team is responsible for taking the latest technologies in IoT (incl. Smarty City, Connected Worker, Connected Cars), Cyber security and Unified Communications to the Canadian and global markets. The team also does sales engineering for B2B solutions in commercial and public markets within Canada.
As a Senior Strategy Manager, you will lead the improvement in sales performance by playing a key role in enhancing how the team does business. You will work in partnership with the business area to identify and drive transformative and strategic changes.
Success Factors:
A successful candidate must build a deep understanding of sales & marketing plan including: customer target(s), sales enablement, financial planning and process improvement. The role will require building business strategies, creating management recommendations and executing strategies while collaborating with other business units. Tracking and reporting on key metrics will be a part of regular responsibilities. Proficiency in excel, Salesforce and Power Point is required.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support senior leadership to improve sales team performance. Drive adoption of best sales enablement practices across the team
- Support coordination of strategic transformational project including process development/ re-engineering and financial planning
- Facilitate digitization of key reports and activities
- Provide expert-level methodology guidance and direction to other business analysts, key stakeholders and project team
Qualifications
Required Qualification and Skills:
- Bachelor's/master's degree in business administration, business management, finance, technology
- Proven track record on managing sales performance. Experience with Salesforce is required
- Strong quantitative and problem solving skills. Proficiency with Excel is required
- Strong communications skill, including the ability to build & drive presentations for the LT
- Thrive working in a fast paced and often ambiguous environment
