As Sr. Technical Product Manager, you will be supporting the innovation, incubation and solution development of key next wave technologies by providing technical and services development expertise to support the outcomes development for the B2B organization. You will play a pivotal role in the market success of TELUS Cybersecurity by monitoring trends in the cyber security services market, capturing the voice of customers and gathering competitive intelligence to better manage our security products and /services life cycle. 


As a member of the Product Management Team, you take part in TELUS Cybersecurity technical service roadmap planning, build financial business models for new services and ensure market success by defining the go to market plan. Moreover, you are a champion on developing new opportunities and driving them to commercial success in close collaboration with other product managers, DevOps and sales teams.


Here's how:


  • Full lifecycle product planning from Engineering to supporting the service development roadmap and delivering desired Cybersecurity outcomes for customers 
  • Reviewing technical specifications and architecture map of systems and platforms, map out integration plans and evaluating different technology options with your Technology Development stakeholders 
  • Maximize our investments in the TELUS value-chain through collaborating with the respective B2B teams to build a repeatable framework of tools and processes to be used by different Products and Services 
  • Taking part in strategic pipeline planning for new product development including the definition, sourcing, design, logistics, and product development 
  • Aligning a forward-looking domain strategy across a complex organization with legacy platforms, working with IT and Business primes to establish target models and decisions for management
  • Developing a deep understanding of emerging global trends and technologies by leveraging competitive landscape research, gathering voice of customer and analyzing market reports to create winning business cases
  • Collaborating effectively with internal teams, including developers, engineers, architects and operations as well as other Business Product Managers to build the products and capabilities that they need 
  • Assessing the economic, competitive, and technical analysis of emerging products and solutions to support growth initiatives
  • Conducting vendor platform/technology assessments, as well as setting requirements and best practices for partner integration into the TELUS environment to fit an overarching Portfolio strategy
  • Managing capital budget associated with given portfolio projects




You're the missing piece of the puzzle


  • With your 5+ years of product management experience in a technology focused vertical 
  • Acknowledged for your solid Network and Cloud Security knowledge (SASE, Security Analytics Platforms, Cloud/SaaS/Application Security along with traditional Governance, Risk and Compliance) 
  • Valued for your visionary approach to an evolving Threat vector due to Network and Cloud transformation journey that our customers are undertaking 
  • Proven experience in business and enterprise architecture and design 
  • Recognized for your excellent leadership, communication and presentation skills ● Great sense of team collaboration 
  • Experience with financial modelling and building compelling business cases 




  • Understanding of emerging MDR (managing detection and response) solutions, Security risk management, information event management (SIEM), Threat intelligence, Endpoint detection & prevention domain and/or Cloud based security, SaaS, Application and Workload Security and SASE domain 
  • With a college or University degree 
  • Accreditations such as CISSP, CSSLP, CCSP or similar
