You’ll be running point on crafting a brand new strategy for our Communication as a Service portfolio. Managed services market is experiencing unprecedented rates of change and disruption, and our strategy in serving this market must evolve to keep pace. Reporting to the Manager, Integrated and Managed Services this role focuses on creating a sustainable competitive advantage for TELUS by delivering on Connectivity Technology Transformation. Key responsibilities will include:


  • Lead and deliver on the end-to-end strategy and multi-year product roadmap for our Communication as a Service offering
  • Responsible for market assessments supported by qualitative and quantitative research; validate the problem space; size the market; meaningfully segment it; determine segment attractiveness, develop a theory of competitive advantage and implications for value chain
  • Clearly define the value proposition and target customer segments to bring capabilities to market for the given product portfolio
  • Synthesizes market requirements into product features by having thorough knowledge of product configuration mix, Revenue/Margins, financials & market share
  • Guides key business stakeholders from marketing, technology strategy, sales & operations on the portfolio strategy on planning, development, launch, maintenance & deselection
  • Obtain alignment and drive cross-functional leadership across all the value chain partners to achieve market outcomes and product success criterion 
  • Explore and build potential partner models with system integrators as required to design cloud-delivered managed services while optimizing the cost structure

What do you bring:


  • 4+ years of end-to-end product management experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Service Management or technology services leadership role
  • 2+ years of experience with ITSM-based tools
  • Deep understanding of cloud services, subscription and consumption models in a SaaS world
  • Extensive skills in cost-efficient solution building
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and communicate high-impact messages and complex ideas in an effective, concise fashion in both verbal and written format
  • A strong bias for action with the willingness to “roll up your sleeves” and step outside your comfort zone
  • A natural curiosity, eagerness to understand the “Why”, and keenness to learn from others #LI-Remote MBIOT22
