Drive product management excellence as the Senior Product Manager for the Subscription on Demand portfolio within the TELUS Billing & Revenue Enablement Products Team

The Billing & Revenue Enablement Products team is part of the Connect Digital Marcomm (CDM) team at TELUS within the CPO organization. We are an innovative, results-oriented, customer-centric organization that lets you jump right in and take on our most challenging projects. Namely, the relentless focus on selling subscription products on their own and bundling with our Mobility and Home Solutions services as part of a unique TELUS value proposition. We are responsible for supporting the strategy, roadmapping, development, delivery of new subscriptions and capabilities to position us well for the ongoing success of this growth area.

The Subscription Management portfolio is new to TELUS, launched in May 2023. You will spearhead the evolution of the subscription platform including bringing on new products and capabilities to the platform and work with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver the roadmap.

 

Here's how

 

  • ‘Develop and maintain the product roadmap and backlog for the portfolio, working collaboratively with the product owners of multiple Lines of Business within TELUS to identify reusable capabilities driven by Business roadmaps and clear business cases
  • Serve as the bridge between business and technology, helping to set business priorities and directing execution with technology teams
  • Collaborate with industry leaders on new product & service introductions
  • Validate products and solution concepts by creating multiple low-fidelity prototypes
  • Develop solid business case justifications for new products and services
  • Create and present materials to senior executive audiences in governance forums which conveys information in a logical and clear format
  • Project kick-offs and assessments to define the product and perform high-level planning
  • Design and build the feature set to make a great customer experience
  • Validate new products to ensure we delight customers in the way in which we intend
  • Track, analyze and share the details of the portfolio performance

 

 

Qualifications

  • Noted for your curiosity and ability to bring forward new ideas, willing to get into the details of a problem and solution to the degree that you can own the solution as the business prime, you're not satisfied with the status quo
  • A quick study, and proven self-starter, self-directed, self-motivated: ability to work with minimal guidance and work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Recognized for your creative problem-solving skills that inspire the team to look at consumer and business problems and solve with new products and services
  • Experience delivering on complex solutions, while making the case for intelligent trade-offs between delivery time / quality / scope and cost
  • Team Player: you excel in a collaborative and cross-functional setting, with an ability to co-create and execute with other business primes; interest in learning from others, and in teaching others

 

Great-to-haves

 

  • Product Management Certification, Experience with Service Design and Lean Start-up methodologies an asset
  • Project management skills with focus on driving results
  • Both Mobility and Home Solutions experience

 

 

Salary Range:  $106,000-$158,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
