The Voice Services DevOps (VSDO) team works closely with cross functional teams across the organization to realize our collective Customer First vision. We are responsible for supporting the development and delivery of consumer voice, messaging, and video services; anchored around building capabilities using experimentation and customer insights to obtain validated learning.

Voice Service DevOps (VSDO) is seeking a creative, entrepreneurial, energetic, and bright candidate to join our team. As an experienced leader of people, you’re not a developer or a marketer, but you’ll work closely with both. You’ll support rebuilding a best-in-class telephony and messaging experience for our customers. We’re a dynamic team, so a high degree of flexibility is required to adapt to a wide variety of tasks and functions. This fast-paced, exciting role provides the opportunity to be a part of a top strategic area for the company, working closely with the leadership team.

 

What you’ll do

 

  • Deliver strategic plans and prioritize user stories to deliver on that strategy
  • Proactively work with the team to identify risks and prioritize resolution plans
  • Draft, socialize and gain approval on strategy; define and track measurements of product success
  • Complete presentations to the executive team on key strategic opportunities and updates
  • Build, maintain and leverage strong relationships with your stakeholders and maintain a collaborative model in order to ensure that you are collectively meeting the requirements of the business
  • Ensure that there is clarity of process and procedure including customer/user journey mapping
  • Explore customer feedback and analytics to drive improvements in our products and services
  • New product ideation through insights obtained by talking to our customers, monitoring our competitive landscape, as well as overall technology and social trends

What you bring

 

  • Innovation – not satisfied with the status quo and willing to tirelessly push for new and creative services to meet our customer’s needs
  • Proven ability to take complete ownership of a product, by asking the right questions and knowing the results from launch to continuous support, demonstrating adaptable thinking
  • Have a relentless focus on the customer experience as new services are delivered
  • Strong project and process management skills, and the ability to lead cross functional teams
  • Excellent strategic analysis and thinking, with the ability to interpret data and generate innovative and unconventional solutions
  • Excellent relationship building and negotiation skills required to obtain commitment from cross-functional teams to support and deliver on priorities
  • Superior organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to meet deliverables and work with minimal supervision
  • Strong written and verbal presentation and communication skills to leaders at all levels within the organization
  • Experience working with Agile/Scrum/Kanban

 

Great-to-haves

 

  • Accustomed to an extremely fast-paced environment, requiring juggling of multiple priorities
  • CSM, CSPO or other Agile certification
  • PMP Certification
  • Passion for mapping nuanced financial expenditure details to our strategic priorities
