Our team and what we’ll accomplish together 


Together we will design and build foundational capabilties that enable rapidly developing products at scale across multiple lines of business (Telecom, Health, Smart Home, Energy, Insurance etc.) We will achieve this by designing scalable product features that can adapt based on how the APIs are being used by our systems / customers / partners. The products you will develop will enable a seamless customer experience across the verticals for example improving control and developing a cozy home using the telecom and AI capabilities, enabling energy management and optimization at home etc. The products will self-heal and notify customers when issues happen or usage patterns change. 


What you’ll do 

You will work with the leading cloud infrastucture providers like Amazon and Google and a number of partners to rapidly build and deploy these products while integrating them with Telus infrasturture. You will evangelze and champion adoption and promote the API value proposition to stakeholder groups including Product Managers, architects and developers. You will mentor Product Teams as they lead product development, share best practices, and help with identifying and validating reusable features and thereby enabling a quick, efficient and cost effective go to market. 




What you bring


  • Noted for your curiosity and ability to bring forward new ideas, willing to get into the details of a problem and solution to the degree that you can own the solution as the business prime, your not satisfied with the status quo 
  • A quick study, and proven self-starter, self-directed, self-motivated: ability to work with minimal guidance and work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Recognized for your creative problem solving skills that inspire the team to look at consumer and business problems and solve with new products and services
  • Experience delivering on complex solutions, while making the case for intelligent trade-offs between delivery time / quality / scope and cost
  • Team Player: you excel in a collaborative and cross-functional setting, with an ability to co-create and execute with other business primes; interest in learning from others, and in teaching others 




  • Product Management Certification, Experience with Service Design and Lean Start-up methodologies an asset
  • Project management skills with focus on driving results
  • Experience in multiple industries (Wireline, Wireless, Smart Home, Energy, Health etc.) CHE 2022
