Description

 

We are looking for a ServiceNow Developer with 3–5 or more years of hands-on experience to design, build, and support scalable solutions on the ServiceNow platform. This role focuses on configuration and custom development across multiple ServiceNow applications, working closely with platform owners, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality, maintainable solutions.

 

The ideal person is technically strong, detail-oriented, and experienced in translating business requirements into effective ServiceNow functionality.


What you’ll do:

 

  • Design, configure, and develop solutions on the ServiceNow platform
  • Build and maintain:
    • Business Rules
    • Script Includes
    • Client Scripts
    • UI Policies
    • Flow Designer workflows
  • Customize forms, lists, and UI actions following platform best practices
  • Develop and support integrations using REST and SOAP APIs

 

You'll also be heavily involved in the following two areas:

 

Platform Support & Enhancements

 

  • Participate in platform upgrades, patching, and testing activities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application and platform issues
  • Optimize scripts and configurations for performance and scalability
  • Support deployments using update sets and application repositories

 

Collaboration & Delivery

 

  • Work closely with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to refine requirements
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog grooming, demos)
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and production releases
  • Document technical designs, configurations, and support procedures
  • At time act as the business analyst or business process consultant

 

 

Qualifications

 

You’re the missing piece of the puzzle:
 

You are likely in a similar ServiceNow / Developer Analyst III role today, with many of the following abilities and experience points:

 

  • 3–5 + years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience
  • You are proficient in JavaScript (server-side and client-side)
  • You have an understanding of ServiceNow architecture and data model
  • You have experience with Flow Designer and legacy workflow
  • You are known for building and consuming REST/SOAP integrations
  • You bring knowledge of ServiceNow security model (roles, ACLs)

 

ServiceNow Certifications

 

Given the nature of the work and client groups, the following certifications are required:

 

  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) 
  • Mainline CIS Certifications (Certified Implementation Specialists) - (any 2 of ITSM, Data Foundations, ITOM, GRC/IRM, SecOps, VR) 

Great to haves

 

We are especially motivated to connect with individuals with one or more of the following:

 

  • Experience with one or more ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITOM, GRC, SecOps, ITSM, CSM, SPM)
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes
  • Experience in enterprise or consulting environments
  • Exposure to ServiceNow best practices and upgrade-safe development

 

Please note that this work can be done from in or near any major centre across Canada.  It is forecast to be up to 100% remote, with minimal, infrequent requirements to be in-office.

Salary Range:  $82,000-$122,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  12%
