Let’s Build Meaningful Digital Experiences - Together
Join our team and what we’ll accomplish together
We are a service management team that equips organizations to be agile and innovative, focusing on process-driven solutions to be productive, creative, and create value for business stakeholders. We foster a "think service management first" mindset to build solutions using best practices for the workplace of tomorrow, enabling businesses to drive optimization and workforce excellence. By doing these things, we create success faster and in circumstances otherwise not possible.
We’re looking for a passionate and skilled ServiceNow UI/UX Designer & Developer who can blend visual finesse with technical execution to build seamless user experiences within the ServiceNow Service Portal. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how users interact with our digital solutions — from intuitive designs to fully functional, responsive implementations.
If you’re someone who thrives in cross-functional teams, loves designing clean and efficient interfaces, and enjoys turning complex business needs into simple user journeys — we’d love to connect.
This is more than a design role — it’s an opportunity to help shape a better digital workplace on one of the most powerful enterprise platforms in the world. If you’re excited by solving real problems and delivering smart, elegant solutions through ServiceNow, we’d love to hear your story.
What you’ll do
- Lead end-to-end UI/UX efforts for ServiceNow Service Portal applications — from user research through wireframes to deployed code
- Design and develop custom widgets using ServiceNow’s AngularJS framework and leverage the latest Portal capabilities
- Build and style responsive, accessible layouts using SCSS, Bootstrap, and ServiceNow theming tools
- Translate stakeholder requirements into user-friendly, scalable portal experiences that align with business workflows and ITIL processes
- Create interactive prototypes to communicate and test design ideas before implementation
- Contribute to portal performance optimization, reusable component development, and improved load times
- Ensure design consistency across the platform using a shared design system and enterprise branding guidelines
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and demos
- Collaborate closely with ServiceNow developers, architects, and product managers to bring designs to life with high fidelity
- Stay current on ServiceNow platform enhancements, particularly those impacting UI Framework, UI Builder, and Next Experience
- Design and develop portals on hyperscale cloud platforms
What you bring
- 3–5 years of experience in UI/UX design, with at least 2+ years working specifically on ServiceNow Portal development
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow’s Service Portal architecture, Widget Editor, and AngularJS-based widget creation
- Hands-on experience with UI Builder, Now Experience Framework, and Catalog Item customization
- Proficiency in Figma (preferred), Adobe XD, or Sketch for design workflows
- Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), jQuery, and Bootstrap 4/5
- Experience in implementing responsive and mobile-friendly designs within the ServiceNow ecosystem
- Solid grasp of UX principles, accessibility (WCAG 2.1), and design patterns that work well in enterprise IT platforms
- Ability to integrate UI elements with REST APIs, GlideAjax, and GlideRecord for dynamic, data-driven interactions
- Comfortable working in Agile teams and using tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Git
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset — you’re as comfortable brainstorming as you are building
Great-to-haves
- Exposure to ServiceNow’s Next Experience (Polaris) , Mobile Studio, Flow Designer, and App Engine Studio
- Working knowledge of platform security models (ACLs, roles) and how they impact portal visibility
- Ability to contribute to design system governance and reusable component libraries for broader enterprise use
- Interest in motion design, transitions, or subtle animations to enhance UX without compromising performance
Advanced knowledge of English is required because you will most of the time interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.); interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.); and work with IT tools whose interface is only accessible in English as part of this position's main responsibilities given its national scope.
