The TBS Commercial Ontario and Prairies sales operations team leverages best practices, collaboration and thought leadership to drive strategic campaigns, programs (incentives and events), and Go-to-Market strategies to help drive profitable sales growth and retention.


As the Senior Business Analyst, you will act as the liaison to our national marketing and product teams and as well as our newly formed National Activation team. You will be responsible for overseeing the performance and success of key marketing programs, product launches and events within the Commercial Ontario and Prairies sales teams.

This is a unique opportunity offering diverse exposure and experience across the sales and marketing teams. As the primary contact to the sales team you will be responsible for addressing questions and inquiries regarding marketing related activities and play a key role in feeding customer and sales insights and feedback to help drive continuous improvements.

Here’s how

 

  • Ensure clear alignment on business marketing priorities and organizational strategies are communicated to the Sales teams by:
    • Communicating upcoming Marketing programs, events, offers, market intelligence and product launch information.
    • Collaborating with Sales Executives and Sales Leaders to understand business needs and interlock back into the Marketing team
  • Serve as key point of contact within sales channel for gathering feedback and customer insights
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance metrics with a view of driving improvements to enhance the success rates and meet targets.
  • Interlock with various TELUS partners and vendors, assist with the coordination of partner sales and customer events
  • Known for seamlessly executing on events in alignment with the sales team’s strategy, including but not limited to conferences, trade shows, networking events, dinners, roundtables, and sponsorships
  • Manage the budgets and contract negotiations for events (including venue/hotel), vendors and partners, in close partnership with TELUS finance and legal teams
  • Valued for your ability to proactively identify logistical issues and opportunities, analyze facts and data, and develop and implement solutions to address concerns in advance of an event
  • Develop best-in-class, timely and consistent internal and external communications that support the
  • Ontario and Prairies Sales Team strategy, on both a proactive and reactive basis
  • Lead communications best practices within our team, demonstrating expert writing skills and a broad and deep understanding of the business
  • Applauded for your “can-do” attitude and belief in the art of possible. Balance the timely completion of multiple concurrent projects while maintaining high quality of output

Required Knowledge

 

  • Strong MS Excel & PowerPoint skills
  • Salesforce or other CRM exposure is beneficial
  • Understanding of telecom business models, measures and metrics


Required Experience

 

  • Post-secondary degree
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales or marketing environment
