Together we are transforming our Business Systems blueprint to a customer-centric, cloud and data-driven experience for our business customers and responsible for driving holistic strategy and delivery of our B2B system’s blueprint. 
We are looking for an experienced Senior Developer in a tech lead capacity to join the CIO Salesforce DevOps team. You’ll be joining a friendly, cross-discipline and agile team of professionals who help each other solve problems, overcome challenges and deliver business value using Salesforce.


As a key member of our team, you have exceptional communication, technical, analytical and problem-solving skills, and are comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization. We are seeking a self-starter, who is passionate about Salesforce technology, and who takes a proactive approach to recognize and make process and code improvement recommendations. You will identify new and/or creative methods to leverage and its database to support business processes or functions.

As a Senior Developer you will have a critical role to drive our capabilities forward accountable for the design, development, testing, and maintenance within the Salesforce platform. You have top notch Salesforce knowledge combined with solid communication, problem-solving skills, documentation and knowledge of best practices to translate business opportunities into well-architected Salesforce solutions. With a passion to coach and mentor developers, as a Tech Lead you will help guide best practice, ensure code quality and enable a seamless experience for our customers and team members, while supercharging the developer learning journey.


You’ll grow to become a subject matter expert of key capabilities and you’ll work with multiple product owners, vendor partners and partner teams across the organization to build and evolve our platform. As a custodian of user trust, you’ll employ best practice in development, security, accessibility and design to achieve the highest quality of service for our team members.
This role is open to remote work concessions for eligible candidates.


Here’s How


  • As a tech lead you will drive continuous improvement in our delivery model to improve code quality and reduce technical debt against best practices
  • Provide guidance and oversight to other developers to optimize code and maximize value of Salesforce through coaching and code reviews
  • Become the technology subject matter expert and have ownership of key business and system functions
  • Develop or enhance our Salesforce Value Chain based on data, user feedback and experience
  • Address technical debt, define documentation and help update and maintain our Salesforce ecosystem
  • Collaborate with business partners, project teams and other Salesforce team members to continually deliver business value and improve the end-user experience
  • Work with technical teams and architects to finalize architectural specifications - and create solution and integration designs
  • Produce project documentation, including functional and technical designs following best practices, and end-user guides. Maintain detailed system configuration and architectural documentation on an ongoing basis
  • Pilot, design, develop, unit test and implement new CRM functionality, building metrics to track the effectiveness of the new features
  • Validate application code using unit tests, security tests, and profiling tools
  • Clarify, investigate, track and resolve technical issues
  • Provide occasional after-hours support, especially during system upgrades and releases




Your Ideal profile Includes


  • In depth understanding and knowledge of SFDC programming languages to configure and develop Salesforce solutions in Visual force, Apex, LWC, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other technologies to support business requirements
  • Experience as a Developer lead with a passion to coach and mentor other Salesforce Developers
  • Skilled at code sharing and control by regularly submitting code to concurrent version system repository (BitBucket)
  • Strong knowledge and experience in the architecture and development within the Salesforce platform and AppEx ISV tools. (e.g., governor limits, security, Objects, record types, workflows, triggers, OmniStudio)
  • Adhere to Salesforce best practices, maintain code documentation, and write / maintain test classes for all custom development
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including the ability to link product design and features to strategic objectives and passion for devising creative, customer-oriented solutions
  • Attention to detail with the ability to analyze and solve complex problems as well as provide documentation, guidance and instruction to users
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and embrace new technologies, applications, and solutions
  • Self-motivated, flexible, team player with solid multi-tasking, time management & organization expertise with the ability to manage multiple and often changing priorities

Required Technical and Professional Expertise


  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or something similar
  • Required Salesforce certifications: Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II, App Builder, OmniStudio and Industries CPQ Developer certification
  • 4+ years Salesforce Development experience in Visualforce, Apex, OmniStudio, LWC, HTML, CSS or JavaScript
  • Good level of development knowledge and excellent understanding of object-oriented concepts and design patterns, prior work with OO languages (Apex, Java, Ruby, C# or C++)
  • Experience with modern IDEs (VSCode), Apex PMD/Static Code Analysis, version control (Bitbucket), Agile tools (JIRA) and Copado is desirable
  • Experience with REST/SOAP webservices in Salesforce and using Postman/SOAPUI for diagnosing complex defects




  • Experience working in an agile environment and using Atlasssian (JIRA) tools and Salesforce DevOps experience, particularly sprint planning and assessments
  • Relational databases, including work with MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, or other common RDBMS
  • Knowledge of Workflows, Process Builders, Flows and how manage data migrations
  • Experience in a telecommunications or related industry vertical
