Join TELUS Business Solutions (TBS) as our Strategic Programs Director, together, we are igniting a new era in our Managed Services program. In order to do this you will:
- Guide the governance and execution of the Next Gen Managed Services Program
- Report directly to the Vice-President, Product Management, Commercial and Public sector, ensuring strategic alignment and program success. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate efforts, enable communication, and leverage diverse expertise to drive innovation and achieve program objectives.
- Managing the stakeholders involved in the program by understanding their requirements, actively working to ensure that their input is valued, resulting in increased engagement and program success.
- Optimize investments related to the program and ensure efficient resource allocation
- Report on the benefits and outcomes of the program, providing valuable insights to stakeholders
- Communicate progress and results to executives through presentations and updates
- Apply creativity and problem-solving skills to find innovative solutions
- Demonstrate strong leadership, strategic thinking, stakeholder management, financial acumen, communication skills, and experience in managing complex programs.
What you bring
- Significant hands-on program management experience with ability to drive a phased approach, building tangible iterative incremental value across multiple program streams
- Excellent communication skills: addressing senior executives with clear and concise messaging, while also building collaboration across internal and external partners
- Experience with financial management as related to project investments (Capital and Operating Expenses) and benefit monitoring
- Demonstrate a “can-do” attitude that fosters a positive productive working environment, especially in pressured situations while clearing roadblocks and resolving issues.
- Noted for your ability to bring teams together, to focus on strategy, gain buy in and influence executive leaders across the organization
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written, is required for this opportunity as your program stakeholders will be nationally based

- An established network within key TELUS Business Solutions teams across marketing, product, service delivery and technical teams
- Experience in managing programs through the Agile method
- Understanding of industry trends in IT Service Management
- Formal Project Management certification
- Master’s degree in Business or Engineering
Advanced knowledge of English is required, because you will, most of the time, interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.), interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.), as part of this position's main responsibilities, given its international scope.
