The Sales and Operations Enablement team is looking to fill the role of Strategy Manager. In this role the strategy manager will be responsible for supporting the execution of the planned roadmap and ensuring financial efficacy of initiatives. In this role you will have exposure to all of the projects in the portfolio with opportunities to inject your innovation ideas.
You will develop strategic business partnerships with the multiple operation teams through engagement and active consultation to ensure a clear line of sight to the benefits our IT projects will deliver. Your analytical skill-sets will come into good use to plan for and track benefits realization.
What you’ll do
Use strategy and analytics skills to provide insights to create and drive change that improves the customer experiences and deliver real benefits
- Contribute to roadmap development
- Work with project primes to ensure sound business cases are established
- Work with operational leadership to garner support on IT initiatives and the planned benefits
- Establish best practices for tracking and reporting actual realized benefits
- Monitor and track actual realized benefits
- Maintain a portfolio level view of business case benefits
- Support the creation of presentation material telling the story of operational improvements to be delivered through capital spend initiatives
- Manage small scale projects through to completion
Qualifications

- Strong analytical skills with the ability ask insightful questions to drive efficacy in operational outcomes
- Strong storytelling and ability to help operational partners align on roadmap objectives
- Strong financial knowledge in cost- benefit analysis
- Confidence in making appropriate assumptions to support the estimation process
- Leadership in setting direction through ambiguity
- Superior organization skills with the ability to prioritize competing projects with care
- Recognized as a strong collaborative team player
- Highly effective communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
Great-to-haves
- 5+ years in a strategy, planning or analytical role
- Strong competency in the Google and Microsoft (MS) Office suite of productivity applications
- Project Management experience is an asset
- Graduate Certificate or Degree in Management Information Systems, Business Analysis or equivalent experience
