As a Taxation Analyst and member of the dynamic and growing Tax team you will be responsible for a broad range of indirect tax (GST/HST, QST, PST) compliance functions for TELUS entities conducting business in the health, telecommunications, agricultural technology and other innovative industry verticals. As a strong team player you will be comfortable in actively supporting a broad range of initiatives including tax compliance/filings, systems implementations, new product introductions and business process changes.
You will leverage your natural curiosity, and strong communication skills, each day to ask questions and actively explore opportunities to improve our compliance and other processes to drive efficiencies and profitability. Where opportunities present, you will confidently take on a central and pro-active role in bringing about change including demonstrating comfort in negotiating for changes or concessions with other teams.

As a flexible performer, you will show your skills, as required, in transitioning from detail oriented work to a broader “bigger picture” approach. You will bring an aptitude for learning. You will be comfortable in shifting and re-allocating priorities in order to support evolving business and taxation needs.
