What you’ll do

  • Vision and Execution: Develop a clear vision of the future state aligned with the Program’s vision and execute a strategic plan to achieve that vision.
  • Own Process Design and Submit Quality Business Requirements aligned with vision: Guide and support the business in developing high-quality business requirements and designing efficient processes. Create requirement analysis documentation and translate that to the business stakeholders, technical teams.
  • Align Delivery with Long-Term Roadmap: Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure that project and application deliveries are in sync with the organization's long-term strategic roadmap.
  • Build and Execute against a Project Plan including Change Management & Communications: Work with key stakeholders and development teams to ensure cohesive and aligned project execution and application adoption.
  • Manage TELUS Digital Developer Pod Relationships & Delivery including QA: Lead and manage partner relationships to ensure effective delivery, including communication with business stakeholders and reviewing Statements of Work (SOW). Accountable for technical and functional test planning and executing and acting as a liaison with QA team.
  • Manage Timelines and Risks: Oversee project timelines, proactively identifying and communicating potential risks or delays to ensure timely delivery.
    Progress Reporting: Provide regular updates on progress and project outcomes to program leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment with project goals.
  • Build Community and Collaborate with Cross Functional Stakeholders within TELUS and Industry Experts: Work closely with fellow product owners and teams across TELUS' CTO organization to ensure no duplication of work, best practice sharing and full value realization. Ensure end to end solutions are effective and workable across application domains.

  • University Degree or Equivalent (Computer science, commerce or equivalent)
  • 3+ years experience in Telecom Project Managment or Systems/Application Product Ownership
     

Location: Any major Canadian city

Salary Range:  $76,000-$114,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  12%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits such as:
