We are seeking a P&C Business Partner Manager to join an exciting new opportunity with Terrion, a TELUS Affiliate. As a new venture and independent company, Terrion will support TELUS, while also growing by serving a broader set of customers. As a P&C Business Partner Manager, you will act as a trusted advisor, consultant, change agent, and coach, collaborating with leaders to develop and implement strategies that support business needs and people plan. This role will also be instrumental in building, implementing, and managing new HR programs and initiatives from the ground up, covering a broad spectrum of HR functions to meet Terrion's evolving needs. Your daily work involves engaging in business conversations, influencing leaders to manage change, grow their teams, and foster an engaged and inspiring workplace.

Partner with Terrion leaders to address people challenges, organizational design, and HR operational needs - offering expert advice, creative solutions, and new processes where required.

Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, expanding leadership capability, challenging the status quo, and ensuring HR strategies align with Terrion’s business goals, values, and its arms-length relationship with TELUS.

Liaise with TELUS Centres of Excellence (CoEs) to adapt shared programs, provide feedback, and design Terrion-specific initiatives when needed.

Work in partnership with Terrion senior leadership to ensure optimal human resource solutions are in place to meet dynamic business needs and align with Terrion values and business objectives, while navigating the "arms-length" relationship with TELUS.

Design and adapt HR policies and programs to meet Terrion’s unique needs - such as onboarding, performance management, and recognition - while ensuring alignment with TELUS’s broader frameworks and philosophies.

Coach and develop leaders while facilitating leadership programs that reflect Terrion’s culture and strengthen team performance and experience.

Drive continuous improvement by evaluating ROI of people programs, integrating TELUS offerings where appropriate, and creating Terrion-specific initiatives that enhance employee experience.

Lead communications by developing strategies and creating content (updates, announcements, presentations, and policy changes) that engage employees, leaders, and stakeholders.

Ensure fairness, compliance, and autonomy in all HR programs—aligning with TELUS governance standards where applicable while protecting Terrion’s independent identity and meeting local regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
What you bring
- Exceptional communicator and influencer with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders and deliver clear, compelling presentations.
- Versatile and collaborative, balancing creativity, execution, and teamwork across different levels and functions.
- Proven operator, experienced in managing day-to-day HR operations while designing and executing innovative solutions - often from a blank slate.
- Skilled project leader, with a strong track record of managing multiple complex initiatives from design through implementation.
- Change navigator, adept at guiding leaders and teams through transformation, ambiguity, and fast-paced change with data-driven recommendations.
- Problem-solver and continuous learner, able to tackle complex issues even without all the answers, while proactively building new frameworks and programs.
- 7+ years in progressive HR Business Partner or HR Generalist roles with success building and implementing HR programs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- CHRP/CHRL designation and bilingualism are preferred assets.
