What you’ll do

 

  • Execute procurement optimization strategies and develop world-class approaches to procurement transformation and workload optimization

  • Drive procurement policy compliance through reporting, governance, and policy maintenance across TELUS CPO

  • Lead strategic procurement programs including savings management, audit management, and contract lifecycle management

  • Manage procurement front door operations and drive engagement across TELUS CPO through workload management improvements and analytics

  • Develop and deploy change management strategies across procurement category teams using market knowledge and influencing skills

  • Provide reporting and analytics support to enable data-driven decision making and performance monitoring

  • Leverage market expertise to implement best-in-class approaches to policy and risk management

  • Serve as an individual contributor within the TELUS Transformation Procurement team with accountability for transformation initiatives

  • Exceptional communicator, influencer, and negotiator with ability to build and maintain effective partnerships with all stakeholders, including senior leaders

  • Strong business and financial acumen with ability to analyze and translate data and intelligence into actionable insights and strategic recommendations

  • Proven experience in leading procurement transformation, workload optimization, and Savings Program Management initiatives

  • Strong subject-matter expertise in Procurement Policy, Strategic Vendor Management, and strategic sourcing concepts and best practices

  • Solid understanding of negotiation theory, strategies, and practices with demonstrated execution excellence

  • Strong data analytics and project management skillset with experience in procurement transformation activities

  • Bachelor's degree in any domain

  • Bilingual (English/French)

 

Advanced knowledge of English is required because you will most of the time interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.); interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.); and work with IT tools whose interface is only accessible in English as part of this position's main responsibilities given its international scope.

Salary Range:  $94,000-$142,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
